Just home from our holiday in Scotland. The first 5 nights with Emily and Gerry in Acharacle. It was idyllic in this completely unspoilt area of the west coast. The weather obviously added to our opinion but we would have enjoyed it as we were completely spoiled. Garden and location , a joy.

We are just back from three nights stay at Croft 229. We felt really pampered being the only guests. Beautifully decorated bedroom, tea tray with cookie box replenished each day, great bathroom. It was great to be able to have a good rest in the sitting room at the end of a few days spent touring Ardnamurchan. Big thank you...

One b+b room, homely, although not en-suite you have your own TV room and lounge, nice garden and close to village eateries. Emily does a wonderful job to ensure your stay is relaxing and enjoyable. She even meets you back at the B+B after your days excursions. The tea 'trolley' is replenished daily. Thank you Emily and Gerry for a...

Thank you very much for your lovely review and comments about Burnside, and we are pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay in Ardnamurchan. I would just mention that the bedroom does in fact have its own private en-suite bathroom, with shower and bath, as mentioned in our other reviews.

I can't think of anything negative to say, so here are the positives: clean, cosy, very helpfull and accommodating hosts (Emily was even willing to make me breakfast at 6am when i was contemplating skipping it), and by far the best scrambled eggs i ever had.

Friendly welcome; beautiful house; en suite rooms at a very reasonable price. When we entered the spacious garden, we saw rabbits jumping away from us. It's very near a hotel-restaurant and almost opposite a small supermarket.

We had a faultless 2 night stay at the Burnside B&B. The weather was wet but the owners' welcoming but respectful approach, the wonderful room (only the one) and comfortable dedicated sitting room, meant we had a great time. There was a good breakfast menu choice and both meals really set us up for the day. We would unreservedly recommend...

Our one night stay at Burnside was a perfect choice on our recent tour of the Western Highlands. Burnside is a lovely house set in a spectacular location by Loch Sheil with mountain views all around.. Our room and bath were sparkling, and furnished with all amenities. It was so comfortable to have our own private lounge across the hall...
