WE stayed here overnight. Lynda gave us a warm welcome. Our room had a view towards Loch Shiel, which glimmered in the early morning frost. The evening meal was good with enough choice. Bar was busy with local folk in the evening. Around £8 for a draught beer and a glass of wine. Room was comfortable, yes the décor is... More

My daughter and I paid 100 pounds for a rather shabby, very small twin room for one night. It was very expensive compared to almost anywhere else I have stayed. The hotel was actually empty apart from us so I felt for the money they could have upgraded us from an attic room with peeling wallpaper,a very dodgy electric socket... More

Stopped of here for lunch. We went to the side and parked the car where one of the locals informed us it was open. Lady who worked there was very nice. Lunch book given and cannot complain about the meal at all. Hubby had fish which he said was lovely and fresh . I just had a panini and it... More

I stayed at this lovely hotel for a week in August after discounting two other hotels in the area. It was a late booking and I was very grateful to Linda for her help to accommodate me for the full week as they were very busy with visitors. I arrived to a very friendly welcome and a fantastic room overlooking... More

We stayed for one night and were made welcome, room was comfortable and spacious, but the bathroom needs an upgrade. Breakfast service was a bit chaotic, I think a staff member may have gone AWOL..! Dinner was good value and the service was good. The hotel has some charm and it's obvious an effort is being made to modernise it... More

Stopped here twice for lunch during our 5 day stay in the area. The food was really good and the price most reasonable. We obviously liked it as we went back a second time! It is some 40 years since I last stayed in this area and it has greatly changed in this time but one thing that hasn't changed... More

Stayed at this hotel and will not be going back and cannot recommend it for accommodation. The room we had was outdated and in need of a good refurbishment this could be said for the hotel in general. The ensuite had been upgraded and was almost acceptable I say this as it could have been a bit better thought out.... More

Thank you kindly for your review. I am so sorry your stay with us was not as you a happy one. In terms of the building and décor, we are in our third year of business and are gradually renovating as we go. The bar and dining areas have all been updated as have the bathrooms in most of our... More

This is the kind of old world charm you want to find when you travel to such a remote part of the Highlands. This hotel had everything we needed for our 2-night stay: great breakfast, delicious pub food for dinner, clean rooms, spotless bathrooms, and lots of local flavor. We greatly enjoyed the warm atmosphere at the bar each evening,... More
