The hotel location is nearer to most points. Looks like a new property or its been maintained really well. Staff is courteous and amicable. We get hot water all through the day and wifi works very well. TV had ample channels to watch. Family room is of good size for a family of 4 or 5 people. Just a few things. When we entered the room there was a bit of foul smell. Normally it happens in most hill stations sure to dampness. Food Choices were less and complimentary breakfast had very less items. Even eggs are charged in breakfast. Though its called as resort, there is no ample common area to have a campfire or other activities. There's a small swimming pool however. It's a good decent hotel, but not a resort.

Pretty decent stay I would stay, but not a comfortable one. Room was too small you only have walking space besides the bed. Surrounding area or view from window is pleasant, small restaurant is there and food is nice. No big activity area available for kids but there is a small pool available. Place is clean and would recommend to take a bigger room especially if you are taking kids.

Drive up to Kolli Hills or KolliMalai (Tamil), from Chennai. Reached the top of the hill around 9:30 pm. For Kolli Hills, it's too late. Caution if you don't like driving at night, you might hate this one as it takes close to 80 plus Hairpin bends to reach the top. There are less options for stay. Major share of people knew RJ Grand Resort as a clean place to stay. Since we were coming from Chennai, once we opened the door we found that it was amazingly cool weather. The Faunas and Floras are awesome and mesmerising. One thing for sure will strike your eyes each time you walk or drive in Kollihills, is the Gigantic Devil's Trumpet flower. Another word of caution, do not touch with barehands. Reach the place with the only expectation of spending quality time with family. Get engaged in walking couple of view points, must see the two Waterfalls major one being "Aagaya Gangai". A few temples to see, major one is Arappaleewar Temple. Siddhar caves is another place to visit. The mobile network is poor, so be prepared beforehand that you may not get too many messages. Food available is very simple food, can't say delicious or not as it depends on your palate. People were simple. Alcohol is not served in any hotel, unless you want to buy it from a Alcohol shop and bring to the place you are staying to drink. Its a 17 rooms hotel with Basic facilities. Rooms are standard size with about 250 sq feet. The bathroom layout is poor, since the wet area is in the middle and so the whole bathroom is wet. The room was cleaned but i saw the dirty sheets and linnen etc thrown on the floor on the floor above. The view outside is a sad part, all construction material strewn and not cleaned at all. The saving grace was Mr Hari who served us excellent service with food. The food was good to satisfy our hunger. Hari served with a smile and also quickly. The other guest who were staying in the resort were staying for almost a week and gave us inputs to go around the hills. Place could be small and basic, but cleanliness in all aspects is important and its a huge concern.

Excellent stay at the resort ..very friendly staff especially Mr Hari who took good care of us and served us some yummy food .. A stay is best when the staff smiles and takes care of their guests and this is what we experienced at our stay @rj grand resort ..will recommend this to all bikers and family 👍

We stayed for 2 days for a family vacation from 22nd to 24th Dec 2019. We were a family of 9 members and had taken a family room and a suite room. The location of the resort is a big plus. Calm and serene place. Food was very good and reasonably priced. Rooms are well maintained. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I shall definitely recommend this resort.

Rooms are not that big, but enough for a good stay. Rooms are neat. Staff are good. The hotel is well maintained. The food served was excellent and the serving team was also very coordial. The ambience and the neatness of the Hotel is excellent.

We had a group of 7 people had a memorable comfortable stay at RJ Grand Resort , Excellent selection of location, View , Staff and tasty meals. Swimming pool was awesome neat and clean. Best resort in kolli hills. Thanks to sudhir manager for taking us good care through out the stay. Special thanks to the owner who made this beautiful resort with more comfort
