First time I had stayed in a barn as I usually camp but pleasantly surprised. This was a spacious barn having 10 beds but also a kitchen area including fridge, oven and microwave. Dave and Sue are excellent hosts and weren't phased by having 7 blokes staying for the weekend. A couple of miles to Coed y brenin but an...

Ideal place to stay for a big group heading to the mountain bike trails. Accommodation in the camping barn was basic, but warm, cosy, clean (we stayed in Feb), place to dry kit, lovely hot showers and superb views. If you want a little more comfort there is a B&B on site. Our hosts were fantastic (even the sheep were...

I did bed without the breakfast as it suited me as I was working for a couple of days at the nearby mountain biking centre . Great room . Very warm and clean . Sue the owner very welcoming . Unfortunately for me my working day didn't give me much daylight at the B and B but I managed some...

Went with my boyfriend for our first anniversary. It was an absolutely amazing trip- the scenery alone is worth visiting for. The facilities are great as well, we stayed in the BnB and the room was comfy, cosy and well furnished. It's not a 5* luxury hotel but it has a comfy bed, tea and coffee making facilities, a TV...

lovely place to stay, in the midst of very pretty scenery yet very easy to find, even if you don't know the area, - as we didn't. The breakfast was really healthy and delicious, with lots of choice, Bedrooms are spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The owner recommended us a local place to eat in the evening - a most...

Proper campsite, no fancy extras' just good clean facility's warm and welcoming owners, just right for a weekend mountain biking, our stove broke and the owner lent us a stove to use as a replacement! What more can be said in praise. In a fantastic location with views to match. Will be returning next year!

Another great stay and will be back for sure for my 4th next year no doubt. Great for groups staying in the B&B and camping for the local cycling trails. Soo well looked after and the weather was amazing too.

This was our first time camping and boy did we enjoy it. Firstly the owners were so warm and welcoming, always greeted with a smile and a "good morning" or "good evening". The site itself had everything we'd hoped for and was clean and tidy. The views across the fields were a breath of fresh air to wake up to...

I reviewed this campsite a year ago after our first stay, and we returned a couple of weeks ago. Once again, we were treated extremely well from arrival to departure by Sue and Dave, possibly the best campsite owners this side of Timbuktoo. Having been eaten alive by the midges last year, we opted to book out the camping barn...

We are on a budget so we stay in the caravan. The land is huge and the views in the morning are just great. Cant...
