We stayed at the B&B whilst we explored Wales and climbed Mount Snowdon. Margaret was lovely from the moment she greeted us in the car park to the moment we left after breakfast the final day. The room was well heated, cosy and very comfortable. The television didn't work, though that's not something that was an issue for us. Bailey...

This is a well-established and well-run B&B on the main road to North Wales from the south. There is a yard for parking, which can get pretty full if you are coming back late in the evening. We were greeted in a friendly and professional manner on arrival. We stayed in Snowy Peaks, which we were told was the largest...

My girlfriend and I entered the Trail Marathon Wales, just up the road in Coed y Brenin, so we needed somewhere close to stay. Old Mill Farmhouse came up through a simple google map search. We chose it on location only. Based on this we had no idea what to expect upon arrival. The buildings themselves are converted barns and...

This is a lovely B&B, as other reviewers have mentioned the owners couldn't have been more welcoming or accommodating. My son loved the model railway which we managed to see on the second morning. It's clean, the beds were comfy (although it might be useful to put a guard rail on the top bunk of Blue Lagoon as my son...

The farmhouse B+B was easy to find as it was on the main road south from Porthmadog. If you have an interest in narrow gauge railways you will find many in the local area including the Ffestiniog Railway. There is even a miniature railway in the garden. The famous Harlech castle is quite near. Penny and Margaret were great hosts entertaining...

Our stay was excellent. Breakfast was lovely and the rooms were fantastic. The owners were lovely ladies and nothing was too much trouble for them, very helpful :-) The views from their farmhouse were breathtaking and their garden was brilliant with the model train track...I truly recommend staying here, a beautiful location with outstanding rooms and service with a smile...

We stayed here in order to run the Coed Y Brenin trail Half marathon. The hosts were very accommodating allowing me to prepare my own porridge in their kitchen, before normal breakfast time. The room was clean warm and the bed very comfortable. This is a great location for exploring the area. I would return.

We stayed in the Blue Lagoon for just one night, which was more than enough. We arrived to a broken glass panel in the door , this summed up the room. Although clean, beds were uncomfortable, the shower needed a cubicle as the room didn't dry out and the decor dated. The place was run with a school teacher's attention...

We had an great time and the the venue worked really well for us. The warm welcome excellent breakfasts and use of the top cabin for group meetings all made it a weekend to remember. Indeed, the group felt we had had a truly special time of "food, fun and fellowship". Our Tim, in particular, loved the amazing garden railway.

Thank Chris C
