The staff was great. The food was great. The weather was windy, but that's just mother nature. But you pay a lot of money to stay at this resort and to have a cold pool is inexcusable. Not one was hardly in the pool. The pools and hot tubs were poorly maintained. Scum, etc. floating at one side. The bubbles...

We stayed at Sandals Emerald Bay for one week at the end of March 2017. The beach is just stunning and the service is very good. We had a wonderful stay, and having been to many Sandals properties, we would have to rate this one as just beautiful to behold. We would return to this property with no hesitation --...

This was my 3rd visit to SEB. I absolutely love it there. I do not feel the need to go to any other Sandals properties. With that being said....I will begin with the staff. From the time you step off the plane Sandals staff are waiting. This year Jeremy Mutton was checking us in very nice man. As soon as...

I had been eagerly awaiting this vacation for nearly a year and a half, so expectations were certainly pretty high. Emerald Bay was our 4th Sandals vacation (SRB, Ochi, SRC). I am a HUGE fan of the all inclusive experience, where all you need to do is show up and have a good time. That said, perhaps we should have...

Emerald Bay was our first experience with Sandals. Overall we were pleased we our experience and had a wonderful relaxing week. We preferred not to participate in a lot of the activities or water activities (outside of pool) but just relaxed under the cabana on the beach. The Greg Norman Golf Course is beautiful and in my husband words "very...

I felt our room was amazing with the butler ocean view suite. 2 rooms and 1 main bathroom and a small powder room size bathroom. which was nice when we both were in a rush to get somewhere. The ocean was fabulous, never got deep in the bay like area. No rocks to concern yourself when walking into the water....

This was our sixth Sandals vacation and it did not meet the standards we are used to at Sandals. Diving is unsafe. No roll call was made following the dive. They also did not have a tag board system to make sure everyone returned from their dive. One day they collected all the divers and took them 30 minutes round...

Just what we wanted! Peace and quiet. We didn't do excursions. We laid by the pool, sailed, and ate to our hearts content! There are 11 restaurants. The staff is friendly and make you feel at home. Sandals does it right!

Rambling Review We traveled to SEB the last week of March for a week of sun and relaxation. In the following, I will try to provide our observations and comments on the resort and hopefully, try not to rehash too much stuff others have commented on. By way of background, we are frequent all-inclusive Caribbean vacation goers (usually 1-2 vacations...

Beautiful property with a gorgeous beach. However, it was unseasonably cool and never reached 80 degrees during our stay. The wind was constant and very strong with "red flag" warnings for 6 out of 8 days preventing water sports. Food is not as good as some of the other Sandals properties. I wish that they had a "Butch's" restaurant. The...
