Travellers' Choice
Spend a week at Paradise Bay Bahamas and discover the Bahamas like you've never seen them. 40 minutes flight from Nassau, crossed by the Tropic of Cancer, the island of Great Exuma is known for its idyllic landscapes, its park and the natural beauty of the seabed. Far from the tourist croud, you will stay in a beautiful 1 or 2 bedrooms cottage, located in one of the most beautiful bays of Exuma. You will stay along the seaside, a few feet from a 1.2 miles long beach on which no resort is installed. Protected by a natural coral reef, this bay is one of the wildest on Exuma.

My husband Travis and I recently visited this quaint boutique oceanfront hotel on our recent getaway. What a wonderful choice we made! We had been to the Island of Exuma Bahamas a few years ago for our “25 th” and stayed at Sandals, which is down the street and shares the same beach. Paradise Bay was lovely all around! The staff was extremely accommodating to us with whatever we needed and Norbert was an excellent managerial Host ! The bungalow on the beach was clean and adorable with breathtaking oceanfront lodging ! Norbert even arranged for my husband and I to have a beachfront massage, what a treat. The Chefs at the little restaurant onsite prepare fabulous meals and the waitstaff was absolutely wonderful! We fell in love with everyone! We are looking so forward to returning sometime soon! God bless each and everyone of you at Paradise Bay! Thank you again for spoiling us! If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway, a quick jaunt from the US, with the clearest water in the world, this is your pick ! Life is short! Schedule this trip ❤️🙏

The atmosphere at this resort is idyllic! The beach is pristine and private. The rooms are roomy and comfy (although you will want to be outside the entire time). The manager (Norbert) is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. The staff is friendly and kind. The restaurant is clean, convenient and tasty. They made renting a car super easy. They gave us all sorts of tips of places to visit on the island.

My daughter and I visited from the 5-13. Great weather. Had a couple of chillier days and one with rain. Rest of the week was sunny and in the upper 70’s lower 80’s. Staff was awesome. Elnicka and Norbert ran the front office. We didn’t get to meet Cedric as he was out of town. Keri, Kia, Alexis, and Chef Heather and Kay made our meals enjoyable and delicious. Crystal and Kenris kept our room in neat and tidy shape every day of our stay. We got to go on the Swimming with Pigs , sharks and Iguanas day trip. Thoroughly enjoyed this! One side note-take cash to tip the staff. I can’t wait to go back. It was like being at home with friends. Had travel to and from the airport. We chose not to rent a car as we went there purely for relaxation.

If you are looking for a trip for family, couples, group of friends or a relaxing get away by yourself, this place is the spot. Right on the water, gorgeous beach, amazing staff. Personally we love the 2 bedroom with the kitchen if you plan to stay for a few days. Mainly because we prefer to cook in the unit. But, the 1 bedrooms are adorable as well. And there is a restaurant right at the location with breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also another small restaurant right behind it and one more with a 5 min walk. I don’t think there could be a more perfect location for your stay in the exumas. We did a boat trip that picked us right up at the beach at our front door and rented kayaks and paddle boards for $20 a person at the resort. Thank you to the owners and staff! - Christy and Dan!

Small authentic and cosy place right on a beautiful beach where you are literally on your own. Cedric and Norbert are there to help for anything you need , renting a car or planning activities such as boat trips. The French restaurant la Fourchette is delicious and offers breakfast lunch and dinner every day even during bank holidays. The place is remote so you need to rent a car if you want to explore all the beautiful beaches in the island
