The only reason I'm not giving this a 5 star review is because I wasn't able to experience the accommodations. We were guests of others with access and were able to enjoy the amenities of the resort for a day. The beaches are beautiful and the water is blue which is 5 star in itself. They have great huts and...

The Oceans section of the resort is somewhat dated (The Marlin is newer) but STILL very nice! This was our fourth visit. We have also stayed in the Coral section which is almost identical to the Oceans...we have not yet been able to stay at the Marlin. Hurricane Matthew left a lot of damage in it's wake. Like most properties...

This is a resort which we'll recommended to everyone. Even though this island is still suffering from the damages of Hurricane Matthew, you'd barely know it at Taino Resort and Beach. Clean, inviting, a fabulous pool with lazy river (did about three rounds each afternoon), a fun waterslide, and a pristine beach. The Activities Director Steve had some fun activities...

I just returned from a week at Taino Beach and have nothing but good things to say about it. Despite the damage Hurricane Matthew did, the resort is back up and running the way I remember it. I have been going there for about 20 years and never had a bad time - even when the weather didn't cooperate. The...

This is a great property with wide, white beaches. The staff is friendly, but do not readily provide you with information. You must be inquisitive to learn of activities and events. The only downside to the property is its location; it's about 7 miles to the nearest grocery. They make shuttle runs to the grocery about 2-3 times a week....

Great location, fantastic staff, clean, large pool, Marina across the street. Great food at the resort restaurant, bar and resort had entertainment in the evenings. Excursions available leaving from on site bus or leaving from Marina across the street. Must do is Garden of the Groves and wine and cheese sunset cruise. Can't wait to return.

My wife and I just returned from a one week stay at the Taino Beach Resort the last full week of March 2017. I thought I’d respond to some of the other comments on Trip Advisor. Hurricane Matthew: This island was devastated by Hurricane Matthew and many of the places of business have not reopened or have no plans to...

I recently went on my first out of the country solo vacation. This was a great place! I met a ton of other vacationers, and the amenities were very nice. I plan on visiting again. Plus Alphie is the best bartender. And the food at the restaurant is great! Planning excursions was super easy with the concierge.

We were the first to arrive after they reopened from their hurricane clean up. Almost every area was being rebuilt to some degree. We did know in advance what was and wasn't going to be available to use. The beach was the reason we went. The sea never really changes. The resort will be repaired, the staff was exceptional. Val,...
