We had a Great time at Island Sea Resort, We could not find anything to complain about. We had a 2 bedrooms w/2 baths, 2 balcony's. I have stayed at 5 star hotel's and found this resort to be as comfortable and even more friendly. The room's were clean, the beach was absolutely beautiful with plenty of chairs and towels...

My stay was great, due to the resort itself and the staff. May I be so bold as to mention names of most of the people who I came in contact with, who, in some cases, in a small way, made my stay more enjoyable: Cheryl Rodgers, Tawari Rodgers, Sonya, Betty, Dorothy, Sheriyn, Orlando Flowers, Darlene and waitress, Ms. Wildgoose....

I am so glad we read other reviews before staying here. If I had to give any advice about staying in this place it would be the following. 1.Do bring towels and sheets: they ran out of pool towels frequently and after reading the bed bug review I wasn't taking a chance on the sheets we did not see any...

A lovely beach and beautiful water. We stayed on the marina side and it was quiet and peaceful. But. There were no forks in the kitchen, had to ask for them. Then no fry pan in the kitchen, had to ask for it. Then no towels on the beach. For days the help said"in the laundry". Other guests were upset also......

This is a perfect family spot. You can walk right out to the beach where you can sit and relax, build sand castles or snorkel. Food is expensive and there is little variety. They povide a shuttle throughout the day to shopping areas. Can access just about any type of water sport activity. They make an effort to have planned...

We thought we'd give this place a try for a few days before committing to trading in a week through RCI. I'm so glad we did, as I cannot even imagine what staying here for a week would do to my health and sanity. Granted, I found the service staff to be incredibly friendly and accommodating - I have no...

Our experience at Island Seas Resort was horrible. I did an RCI exchange for this. Front desk people were very slow and seemed to be oblivious to proceedures, it took over an hour to check in. The room was across the street and outside the gates of the resort. It was fairly clean except for the floor. There was a...

My daughter and I purchased an oceanfront unit approx. 6-7 years ago. When first purchased the Resort was a hopping place. Always activities going on - whether on the beach or at the pool. The bartenders were part of the jovial atmosphere. And, at first I ranted and raved about the place - never wanted to go anywhere else. Over...

The resort is located on a nice and generally uncrowded beach. Grand Bahama Island is much less crowded than Nassau and so it is somewhat of a more laid-back and less luxury/amenity-oriented tourist destination. The unit that we had was acceptable, but note that only owners get the relatively few beachfront units, so we felt fortunate to have a pool-view/ocean-view...

I was ready to transfer my time share to another location after reading the reviews but decided to go in with an open mind, be polite & friendly, & see what happened. The Good: Beautiful landscaping, resort & beach. Most of the personel are either friendly or quiet. The room was furnished nicely & other than the floor, was clean....
