Ok. Sooo, reading the reviews and never having gone to Atlantis I was prepared to have the best trip of my life or the worst. The reviews are all over the board - but I have to say, hands down, this is one of the...More
Atlantis is fun if you are into water activities . Enjoyed walking with the sharks, feeding the stingray, dolphins and just the waterpark in general. Food is expensive and not worth the price and suite is nice but again not worth the price. There are...More

Our family vacation was simply awesome! Lots of activities and pools suitable for kids. The acquarium is the best we have ever seen - built with lots of care for the fish and made to be as natural as possible. Beautiful beach right in front...More

We hit several of the upscale restaurants and nobody required pants. They just don’t want muscle shirts, super casual, my son is 13 and he wore polo shirt and khaki shorts with whatever he wanted on his feet. I found the food and service outstanding - The experience was just the same even though people are not all dressed up (My daughter is 16 so she and I dressed up a bit just because we felt like it- not a requirement).

When I traveled with my babies I just picked up items I needed once I hit the resort, this really is not the place for that in terms of cost of sunblock, lotions, snacks, I would bag up Cheerios, anything that you can bring from home I would just check if you are trying to be on a budget. I agree you can go right down to the lobby and get milk and perishable items if you don’t want to grocery shop. I do believe there is a service that will do it for you but since my kids were 13 and 16 we just hit the store on the way in from the airport. If you get the shuttle from the airport they don’t stop, but we just wanted to get to the hotel. We went back out in a cab and paid him to sit and wait for us to shop. I think $10 xtra bucks. Nassau is one of the easiest airport/customs experiences and I travel the globe. Very easy w/a baby.
