I am currently at Beach Tower Atlantis on my 2nd trip and once again, It is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. The rooms are immaculate, The view of the white sands beaches are BREATHTAKING , Atlantis will always be my "GO TO" vacation spot.
The first time at Atlantis! The perfect turquoise and smooth sandy beach was so calming that it was difficult to move from there. This was a family place with so many young families with little children! The waters were crystal clear. You could see amazing...More
The Beach Hotels constantly loses electricity. Imagine no elevators working in a 9 story building, no AC in August, even after they restore electricity you will not have hot water until hours later. The loss of electricity is happening frequently at the Beach Hotel. Search...More

I review many properties and if you look them up you will see that I am usually understanding of the shortfalls of the places I review. I rely on travel reviews to make plans and try to be as honest as possible. As far as the Beach is concerned, it is on the far end of the complex but with the age of your children I don’t think the location would be a problem. The property is dated but the rooms were clean. I would say think motel more than hotel. The major problems were with the mechanicals of the property. During our stay the power went out frequently and the AC in the rooms was inconsistent and even hardly working at times which was troublesome at night when trying to sleep. The check in process is very trying because they use the Coral check in for both Coral and Beach check in and check out. The area was almost always a mob scene. Do not utilize the bell service, it will take hours to get your luggage. The better restaurants are a bit expensive, on line with large city fine dining. (everything has a12% VAT and 15% gratuity added to it in Nassau) . Examples. Our family of 6 adults and 1 child. Bahamian Club $700 included 2 bottles of wine @ $70 each desert and coffee and additional tip. Olives with wine and desert around $550. Both were great. Virgil’s BBQ with a pitcher of sangria 3 main courses and 3 sides around $350. We found it a good moderately priced option. I think 2 mains and sides would be more than adequate for a family of 4. Marina pizza was pretty good, about $40 for a pie with toppings. Poseidon Table is a bit high for a buffet breakfast around $40 per adult. The place is great, there is plenty to do. I could not recommend the Beach however. I would suggest considering an upgrade to the room, even if it means staying a few less days. Hope this helps.
