The Marley Resort & Spa is an ok hotel, but not a 4-star hotel. Here is what you need to be prepared for, 1. Service is super slow. Room service will probably take about 30-45 minutes. You should expect your breakfast to take an hour since service will be slow. 2. You will have to pay cash for your room...

We got married at the Marley Resort in May 2011. We and couple of family/friends stayed at Marley. The resort was closed for 9 months prior to our arrival. Hence, there was few glitches. The security safe didn't work because the batteries were never replaced. In the beginning, everyone's key card stop working repeatedly, but the problem was resolved after...

The Marley Resort was a great Hotel. It is a true boutique hotel. It is the anti-sandals. I recommend it to people who like original hotels and are willing to adventure out on your own. Personalized service, helpful people, and must stop for Bob Marley fans. Would be a perfect spot for a destination wedding. My wife and I swam...

Went there with a large group of adults (no kids) recently off season, had a great time at this small but beautiful hotel. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. But remember, everything’s sllllooooowww in the Bahamas, so be prepared to wait for breakfast, etc. The location was 10 minutes from the airport, and a short drive to everything. Rooms...

By far one of the best trips ever. The place is authentic with Bob Marley spirit in the air. The concept of the resort is a boutique hotel with only 16 rooms. We were alone in the hotel for a week which created a spectacular feeling of living in a private villa. The staff is extremely friendly and helps with...

we were so looking forward to this small boutique hotel. from the minute i checked in nothing went right. from the bartender telling me there was no fresh juices, then turning around and walking literally 10 feet to the 'juice bar' hut. did the bartender tell me? nope! so i bought a perrier at the bar, and then had to...

If you are looking for a sterile, cookie cutter, all inclusive behemouth - this is not your place. We visited the Atlantis on Paradise Island for the afternoon and couldn't wait to get back to our oasis. I'm a little biased because we got upgraded to the Legend Suite - Fabulous! We stayed the 1st weekend in June and there...

We stayed at the Marley from May 19-24, 2010. In one word it was – AWESOME! We arrived on a rather rainy day, but that did not dampen our trip. We were greeted by CeCile and Alex at the front desk, who showed us around and got us drinks. The resort is little, charming and perfect. We stayed in room...

My boyfriend and I didn't stay at Marley but we went to their restaurant Simmer Down for dinner. FANTASTIC!!! We knew it was going to be expensive and expected ambiance but we were pleasantly surprised to find just seven candlelit tables in the charming outdoor restaurant. Shared a spicy shrimp appetizer, I had the lobster and my boyfriend ordered the...
