we stayed in hut 115 which is an elevated sea front hut.it is worth reserving. the resort is friendly, accomodating and beautiful. its private yet has a nice restaurant and bar scene. if you want incredible conch salad, walk down the street, 3 minutes and find Valdino at his roadside stand to the left of the resort. it is worth...

Beautiful accommodations! We were in Rooms 109. Our teenage son chose the Bahamas to start his diving certification adventure & picked Compass Point as his preferred hotel. The Stuart's Cove bus picked him up every morning to go dive. We enjoyed the food, afternoon Mojito's, surf sounds, sitting/reading on the dock or on our balcony, window screened showers, etc. Our...

Looks a bit like a children's playground on first sight - almost all the guest rooms are in octagonal 'huts', most of which are perched on stilts with an area underneath with seating and a fridge with a sink in a little 'kitchen area'. I had the most lovely sea view from my balcony (two chairs - one a rocker...

Can't really fault this place. It has loads of character (especially when comparied to majority of 'mega resorts' on the island). The accomodation is clean, tidy and very cosy. Their location is great too, right by the sea. It also has a quiet beach (Love Beach) right next to it. And the ipod dock with surround sound system was a...

Compass point is right at the beach. You almost have your private beach. The bungalow was great, spacious and had all comfort we needed. The restaurant is also nice and offers great sunset dinners. The convenient WIFI made the restaurant also a place to stay in touch with the world outside of the Caribbean. Would go back, anytime!

So my girlfriend and I got the cheaper of the 2 rooms (huts) available at compass beach after reading reviews on tripadvisor. The room was a little smaller than expected but wasn't a big deal. The restaurant on the resort had great food, just a bit lacking on the choices but also not a big deal since there are so...

We just returned from a vacation to Nassau where we stayed a few nights at the Sheraton on Cable Beach and then our final 3 nights at Compass Point. Arriving at this hotel was the highlight of our trip. We had a a rental car which I would definitely recommend as it is a little far from the "intown" area,...

Following a very long holiday season and the passing of my Dad, we chose Compass Point as an easy hop from Fla. We need to eat, sleep, read, R&R all the way. This was amazingly wonderful, we had one of only 2 bungalows filled post holidays, almost every meal at their highly rated, deliciously gourmetish yet casual restaurant overlooking the...

We stayed here for the first 5 nights of our honeymoon and LOVED it. Compass Point has everything you need for a romantic island getaway, far from the crowds and noise of Nassau. The separate cabanas are enchanting, the environs are straight out of a postcard, the restaurant is delicious and decently priced, the nighttime lull of the waves under...

Our stay was wonderful. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Our room had an amazing view and the sound of the ocean put you to sleep at night. We chose to mainly hang out at the resort, since you don't really ever have to leave. It isn't real close to other things, but that was the point for us....
