If you're looking at this hotel review, you're probably a budget traveler trying to squeeze as much Bahamas as possible from your money without sacrificing basic comforts of your stay. This is just the hotel for you. At least on New Providence island (where Nassau is located), all hotels largely fall under 3 general categories: - glitzy all inclusives such...

This hotel is full of life well maintained well serviced under local standards to be central nassau and not over paying for short term stays....internet access is a hazard...otherwise many people are criss crossing various cultures...except the busy street there is a nice beach with azur sea.. large linecruisers are coming in and out and life can be fun...

Gotta hit Marshalls World Famous if you visit Junkanoo Beach. It's an easy walk from cruise terminal. For lunch walk a little ways further to Fish Fry, just don't stop at Candies. The beach has restrooms/shower, the further down you walk the less crowded it gets. Been there on 3 separate trips, not a bad way to pass some time...

I stayed 6 days at the Junkanoo Beach Resort. Since I was spending most of my days on the beach, all I really needed was a clean bed and somewhere to put my stuff. It was directly across the street from the beach, EXTREMELY friendly staff and close to everything. I was able to walk to downtown Nassau and shop...

We came to nassau for a scuba trip and decided to stay at a cheaper hotel since we were only staying one night on the island before getting on the boat. While it's close to a great beach and the straw market, the rooms are pretty disgusting. The bathrooms looked like they had never been cleaned and the rooms were...

We decided to do some island hopping while staying in Freeport, so we had the staff at the resort where we were staying book a room for the night in Nassau. She booked us at the Junkanoo resort. we were told it had beach access and a pool. We were so disappointed when the taxi pulled up in front of...

I just thought to let you know how much I enjoy karaoke on Wednesday nights. Everything is exceptional - the music, the food, the atmosphere and the ambiance - all blend together for an excellent night of entertainment. Also, I can't forget the cordial bar staff, Keep up the good work. Regards Eric Cooper ( Coops)

This is a VERY LATE review, but I always say better late than never! I stayed at Junkanoo Beach Resort from Dec 29 to Jan 2. Initially I was at the "SUN FUN" however that place was a complete NIGHTMARE and I didn't stay there longer than 10 minutes. I booked this place online, while I was in the lobby...

Our room overlooked the beach, its across the street from the beach. Crossing the street to the beach was pretty scary, luckily our kids didnt travel with us this time. But if they had, we wouldnt crossing the street with them, the drivers are crazy. We live in a city and are used to crazy drivers, but for some reason...
