I stayed here for a business meeting. The sign outside is accurate indicating it is an affordable bed and breakfast. The hotels nearby are high end and very pricey. Its arranged more motel style with a central courtyard with the rooms running along this. The room was clean. The A

This hotel is good value for Nassau, we were so pleased we chose it. It is so different from the big chain hotels, the lobby is full of local art and very colourful. The staff were friendly and helpful, some spoke English. The rooms are clean and comfortable and there is a lov

Disappointed with this hotel. Arrived late after a long journey. No cold drinks available then got 2 bottles of ( very expensive) water. No lift so cases carried up 2 floors. Room small and not very clean. Long hairs in bathroom and 1 towel so strained I would not use it. Had to

Stayed here for one night at $135 per night. The place reminds me of a hostel - chat beds, really old school tv’s, box air conditioning sets and poor food. The place was a bit dirty also.

Service in the place was great although it really did make me feel like I was in a hostel.

Is this hotel wheelchair accessible?
Very difficult I would think. Steps up to entrance from the street and up to the rooms. Ithink there was a lift inside but it would not be easy to negotiate wheelchair in the rooms. Sorry but that is how it is.

Hi, my 18 year old son from New Zealand is looking for somewhere to stay for 4-5 nights, there is very little budget accommodation in Nassau, is this place safe and suitable for him travelling on his own? Or, does anyone have any suggestions please? He is travelling on his own. Any idea what the cost per night would be for him?. Thanks
Hello not sure if you still need an anwer but i'm a bahamain and just wanted to take the time out to anwer your question. Towne hotel is not in a bad area its actually near downtown our city's center. Another good option would be el greco it also has a pool is cheaper and is right beside the police station. There is about a 5-8 minute walk to the downtown area but thats ok, tourists walk that way all the time. El greco is closest to arawak cay also our number one tourist spot to get the best bahamian food and even if on a budget el greco is closer to mcdonalds
