Great little hotel run by Lloyd, idel for people looking for something affordable when stopping over in Nassau. We stayed for one night as we were heading out to one of the smaller islands in the monring. Basic room with everyting you need as you will likely go out to fish fry for some supper and a drink. Really easy...

They do not have a lot of rooms available but its like a small efficiency type of setup with a small kitchen area, bed and bathroom. They are airconditioned and the ones ive seen has two fullsize beds but guess it depends on whats available. They are located across the road from The Fish Fry.

Nassau hotels can get very pricey; Arawak Inn is an affordable place located west of downtown (around 2km / 20-25 min walk) and very close to Arawak Cay (Fish Fry Market with affordable and good restaurants to get Bahamian food). The owner Lloyd is very friendly and helpful. He had the room ready and cooled down with AC before my...

This is a beautiful little inn along the main street in Nassau. A short walk from the fish fry. The owner takes care of you and is cheerful and accommodating. Overall a pleasant experience and a cheap place to stay by Nassau standards. Catch the jittneys out front to explore the city for $1.25

It was my first time in Nassau, I wanted to have a cheap travel thinking in my dives only. I decided to book the hotel with no more than $100 night and then I found "it". Never been in places like that. When you see the pictures here it is not so terrible, but when you arrive you figure out...

Very basic but ok. Stayed for one night before traveling home from work. Staff were friendly and gave us a good deal as there was 4 of us. By no means a palace! Spent more time in local bars than at the inn but I would go back. Cheep cheerful short stay motel

This place is not for everyone. It’s old and run down and the cleanliness is lacking, but it’s inexpensive and within walking distance of down town. I paid $80 for my one night stay. The proprietors Ann and Lloyd, are very sweet. Ann replied to my emails promptly and Lloyd was very pleasant and helpful. It cost $28 for a...

This Inn is old but serviceable. The room had 2 beds; the single one's springs were gone and there were hairs on the sheets, the double bed was firm and seemed to be clean. Over all it looks shabby and dirty and I was glad I stayed there for 1 night only and would not go back there.

Usually spend time in Nassau with spouse's relatives and this time not possible. Looked for a reasonable, clean, convenient place and this was the cheapest overall. Couldn't tell much from the internet photos, so took a chance. Turned out to be a very good place for the amount of money. The room was shabby chic, and fairly clean. The kitchenette...

I stayed with Ann and Lloyd Gay at the Arawak Inn in 2000 and am hoping to return again next year after some time spent in Europe, however I miss the beautiful colours of Caribbean Blue and the hospitality and sheer joie-de-vivre of the Bahamian people. We experienced real Bahamian life and I will never forget the welcome we received...
