Tucked blocks away from busy Bay Street and the cruise ships, this 14 room white- washed colonial hotel is a gem to enjoy. Spacious rooms more like a private residence feel. We spent most time in the hotel guests reception area and veranda. Pictures of British royalty abound throughout. Gastronomy aka fine cuisine is exceptional !!!! Courses served can be...

What a fabulous find. Our two nights at Graycliff Hotel were not enough. This is a uniquely beautiful hotel in a stunning garden setting in the heart of Nassau. The building is a 300 year old mansion with fascinating history. It has been restored to its original grandeur, with modern amenities, though it retains its original Bahamian charm. Our room...

I was a tad put off from the moment we pulled up in the taxi - looked a little worn. Reception and staff were lovely. Our room was large but like everything else- tired looking and used. We spent time by the larger pool, it looked a little slimy with algae though immensely better than the small pool. It was...

Stayed at Graycliff over the Hilton as I read many mixed reviews about the Hilton's poor service, the Chinese taking it over and repairs and regular maintenance were not being kept up. Graycliff ran a small discount and I decided to change to Graycliff. WHAT A WONDERFUL PLACE. If you want to have a beautiful, sophisticated retreat to escape to after...

On return form 16 days in Cuba, this place was fabulous. Two room suite-Tile Room. However, the restaurant-the best place on the island-was just that. I wish to be carefully sincere here; if you eat in average to good places, this may be a top choice, but is is extremely over priced for what you get. Remember, you are in...

We stayed here for 2 nights, I read some reviews that stated the staff was rude, we found the staff to be very helpful and friendly at every encounter, we did not have any unpleasant interactions. They would ask to do things for you! Our housekeeper was disappointed we didn't need our room cleaned so she went and got us...

Worst experience of my life. If I could give it one star, I would. I wanted to go to a nice restaurant while in Nassau and I was told this was close to the Hilton downtown. While waiting for our food, I took a swim. The girl that I was with (that I just met) got sick and left. When...

We were early to the chocolate tour so we stopped in to see if we could take a look at the lobby area. The hotel itself is impressive and beautiful, however the staff person just stared at us, and did not even answer us when we asked how to get to the chocolate shop for the tour. We went to...

I'll never forget our stay here. You know how the typical all-inclusive Caribbean resorts tend to blend together after a while? Not so for Graycliff. The grounds were gorgeous and we truly enjoyed the architecture and feeling of being in an old estate almost as much as we enjoyed the powdery sand. We will be back for sure!

The grounds are beautiful. The staff and owners are extremely friendly. The cigars are fantastic. The chocolate is beyond words. I always stop in while in Nassau. The history of this place is amazing, you will enjoy it.
