The El Greco is a quirky hotel: mainly small, plain rooms which are dated and reasonably clean. But there are three excellent suites with a huge shared second floor balcony looking out over busy Junkanoo Beach across the suite. The staff are friendly and helpful, particularly Yolanda who mans the receprions desk during the days shifts. There is a nice...

Just steps away from the Beach. Beautiful courtyard with Pool surrounded by palm trees and flowers. Small boutique hotel, large clean rooms. Staff very polite and helpful. This hotel does not charge the high cleaning room fees as most hotels on the island do. Great airconditioning and very comfortable beds. There is no restaurant, but they do have a microwave and...

Hotels in Nassau are expensive so, while El Greco may be reasonable by local standards, it's not good value on a world scale. The hotel is well located opposite a pleasant beach and on a local bus route into town etc. Breakfast was very basic with just coffee and white bread to toast. I've said I'd recommend El Greco to...

We had to go to Nassau for the renewal of the US Visa, el Greco was a great choice as it not more than 5 blocks away and if you're going in a budget it can't get any better than this. I had done my research but still when I called I made my booking for a regular room. We...

A little background -- when looking for places to stay in Nassau while vacationing with the girl I'm dating, we came across the El Greco Hotel. Since neither one of us had been to the Bahamas before, our initial concerns revolved primarily around the proximity to the beach (I felt Trip Advisor and other sites didn't do a very good...

Just returned from Nassau and spent four nights at the El Greco. We loved it! The staff is absolutely incredible. We mostly dealt with Diane, who couldn't do enough for us, but the entire staff is outstanding and makes you feel like you're at home with family. Rooms are gnice and very clean - we stayed in two different suites...

My boyfriend and I just got back from El Greco last night and miss Nassau already. We had room 112 which was the executive suite. Paying a little more was definitely a safer bet than some of the other rooms we peeked into. The suite had a shared veranda with an amazing view of the beach, tons of seating as...

No, it's not a luxury hotel, but the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We had a new flat-screen tv. It wasn't as clean as I hoped for at first, but when I brought the issues to the attention of the staff they corrected it right away. Fresh towels every day, even soap, shampoo and lotion. Breakfast could have been...

It's not a Hyatt, but had decent beds and was clean. The few small things that weren't right were made up for by the the great rates; beach location; and friendly staff. I'd stay again, and plan on returning soon.

We just returned to spending 3 nights at El Greco. Due to an issue with our reservation, we were upgraded for 2 nights to a suite. The suite was ok--very 'medium'. It was moderately clean. Not only was the shower handle broken and hard to operate but there was also no hot water. We had (cool) lukewarm showers for our...
