Nestled within a lush, tropical setting on two acres with ocean views to Cruz Bay, our one-bedroom and studio condos at Serendip St. John are being continually upgraded inside and out. We are an intimate complex of only 10 units in a quiet residential area of St. John. Each of the 8 one-bedroom and 2 studio condos have a fully-equipped kitchen, AC, cable, and large covered veranda with ocean views. The studio units have an maximum occupancy of 2 guests. Our one-bedroom units have a maximum occupancy of 4 -6 guests. The guest laundry facilities are a great added value for small families or the budget friendly traveler. All of our condos come equipped with beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella & a cooler for your memorable days on our beautiful USVI National Park beaches. One of our favorite features is the large covered veranda that extends the length of the entire condo and is a wonderful place for dining, reading a book or watching the sunset. The condo complex also has a lovely pool with a seating area, chaise lounges, and BBQ grill. Review our photos and let us know which unit you are interested in reserving when you submit an inquiry. We enjoyed a wonderful 7-night stay at Serendip. Our condo had ample space and modern furnishings, and a large veranda with a stunning view of Cruz Bay and St. Thomas. The location was ideal, just a five minute drive uphill from town and the ferry. We enjoyed the small but well maintained pool, and on-site laundry facilities were easily accessible. Serendip supplied beach towels, chairs, coolers, ice packs and other supplies to facilitate beach visits.
Our host Kyle was extremely warm and welcoming, and helped answer all of our questions and address our needs throughout the week.
We highly recommend Serendip and cannot wait to stay there again sometime.

My husband and I stayed in Gecko unit for 8 nights. We were welcomed to the properly by Melissa and Tom with chilled towels and refreshing drinks. We were escorted to Gecko unit, which is located on the too floor of the building (single flight of stair). We were given a tour of the condo and an explanation of where and what we can find on the property grounds and in the condo. Mellisa and Tom are outstanding hosts and property managers. They are very knowledgeable, hospitable and kind. Serendip Property is located within minutes of Cruz Bay and about 25 minute drive to Coral Bay. Buildings and surrounding areas are very well maintained, beautiful and serene. We did not use the pool, but hung out in the pool area and it was lovely, relaxing and enjoyable. Amenities are top notch. We utilized the kitchen for breakfast, lunch and dinners daily. Veranda is spacious, comfortable and a scenic space to enjoy sunrises, sundowns and anytime in between. We started every morning with coffee on the veranda and finished every evening there with a cocktail (see photo of sundown from veranda). Shower has a bench, good water pressure and everything you would need to make yourself clean and smell great! Gecko is tastefully decorated, all furnishings are very comfortable and condo contains everything to make you feel at home. I cannot imagine anyone needing more. A/C unit is quiet, bedroom is dark for those who like to sleep in, fans are in all areas of the home (including bathroom), bathroom and kitchen are newly remodeled and we found the space clean. We were very happy to stay at Serendip and enjoyed Gecko unit very much!!

We stayed in Alpha and it was beautiful, modern, very clean and pest-free, with a huge veranda and amazing water views (see photo). Melissa and Tom, the property managers, are awesome, so helpful and friendly! We brought our 1 year old and Alpha was great because it’s on the first floor. The bed was very comfortable, the unit was quiet, the grounds of Serendip were peaceful, with flowers and pretty walkways. Alpha was nicely stocked with soap, paper towels, toilet paper, grocery bags, a beach umbrella, beach chairs, cooler, sand toys, cookware, etc. We would definitely return to Serendip!

Located in the hills very close to Cruz Bay. Clean, comfortable, great views, and well equipped. Appreciated all the extra touches, like hooks in the bathroom, line to dry suits and towels discretely on side of deck, beach chairs, cooler, beach towels, and laundry downstairs (fee charged). We stayed in the Delta room which had plenty of space and was very quiet. Hosts met us to check us in and out, and were very helpful. Great place to relax after spending our days visiting beaches and the National Park. Groceries and deli nearby.

I stayed at Bravo to celebrate my birthday, and it was everything I could ask for and more. The condo alone is beautiful. The condo is situated in a location where it’s high up on a hill, with great views, yet the front patio/entrance area is easy to access. The veranda perfectly looks over the bay and is west facing. The sunset views were so perfect, and were a great experience for me and my family. The condo was extremely tidy and functional. The pool is also really nice too, and was open whenever I wanted to take a night swim, (which was always, of course). The management is so sweet, and were so helpful with any questions we had. You could really tell they knew the island, and cared about all the guests. And the wildlife - OMG. It so vibrant, and you could always watch birds, lizards, and roosters from the deck. It’s so fun to see. And there is a cat on property, that roams around outside. He’s extremely friendly, and will even hangout on the veranda or front patio with you. All this creates such a relaxing and interactive environment with the nature around you. I highly recommend staying at Bravo for your stay, it was magical.

We had another great stay at Serendip! The condos are in the perfect location making it easy to get down to Cruz Bay yet tucked back in a quiet, peaceful area. I love the large, covered lanais. The condos are updated, well maintained and stocked with everything you might need. The landscaping is beautiful, the pool is peaceful and quiet for an afternoon or evening you aren’t at the beach. Mike and Kristin, the new property managers are great hosts and made sure we had everything we needed during our two week stay. Serendip will continue to be our go to accommodations on St. John.

We were back to Serendip last week for a second time in three years. We discovered Serendip in the early 1980s. It is our go to place on St. John. Each unit is privately owned so the furnishings very. Two years ago we stayed in Coral. This year Hibiscus. The property was apparently severely damaged by two significant hurricanes in 2017. It took about 5 years for them to rebuild, remodel and reopen. Coral had much more updating than Hibiscus but Hibiscus is still a very nice place to stay. The Flamboyant tree close by the Hibiscus veranda was just starting to bloom. It was full of Iguanas feeding on the new growth and sunning themselves, very entertaining. Two things we love about St. John, the beaches and the view. Serendip scores a 5 on both. Matt the on property manager was available and helpful, especially when the rolling blackouts started. My one criticism of Serendip would be they have not installed a "whole house" generator. Electricity in the Virgin Islands has become very unreliable. Both this year and in 2022 we had disappointing power failures lasting hours. Last year we stayed with the whole family in a large Villa which had back up generation which protected us from the outages. It is a well run comfortable place to stay. We will be back.

This condo, on every level, was absolutely Perfect. The owners are extremely attentive to detail, the condo’s decor has an awesome vibe and is well equipped, very comfortable and it’s in a great location. Our favorite feature was the Beautiful veranda with the amazing views, perfect for coffee in the morning or late evening cocktail while enjoying the island breeze. We could not have been happier with our choice or our stay. The people of St John are warm and friendly. We will definitely be returning to St John and staying at Bravo Condo, Serendip!

The condo was ideally located on a hill above Cruz Bay. We were warmly welcomed by Kyle and all of our needs were quickly met. The Hibiscus unit was well equipped for my family of 4. Our favorite spot was the large balcony with amazing views of the sunset over the bay It was just minutes from town and the entrance to the park. My kids enjoyed the pool on property for an after dinner swim. I would recommend Serendip as a home base to anyone visiting St. John.

We spent 6 nights in the Geko unit and everything about our stay exceeded expectations. The renovation of this unit was well done. From the furnishings both inside and on the veranda to equipping the unit with all the necessities and extras that make a stay there enjoyable. I also need to give kudos to Kyle the manager at Serendip who was super responsive to our questions and requests while getting settled in there.
