We are regulars at the Nant Ddu for food but had never stayed over so thought to give it a try for our anniversary. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived (we were early) so we went in the gym for 45 minutes, the gym is of a reasonable size and has plenty of equipment to use, from cardio to...

We spent a very relaxing overnight spa stay. The room was nice and the food was good. The spa was also nice. But one thing that put a dampener on it was that people were leaving their towels on the round the pool seating whilst going off for hour long treatments and lunch. Wanting to sit and read my book,...

Stayed as a valentine/birthday treat off my partner last Friday. When we checked in a friendly receptionist gave us our keys for the room but could of told us more about facilities pool etc which we had to just figure out or ask ourselves. Room was to a good standard quite simple but nice, we stayed in the junior room...

Was a bit wary of our stay from reading other reviews and yes, the paintwork could do with freshening up here and there but overall, the food was amazing, the staff friendly, the pool and sauna very relaxing and our treatments very good. The guest book did say that the rooms are in the process of being refurbished, not all...

Nothing special but good enough. Could do with better portions of food for the price. Could do with a life guard in the pool just incase. A dog friendly option would also be beneficial to some of us with dogs. Thanks...

our second stay here. we have relatives in wales. compared with our first stay, its was disappointing. the room was old and worn - in need of some TLC. the gym was basic. the pool was in constant use and small. you only get a dressing gown if you pay for a superior room which means treking through the resturant...

Stayed in room 4, Bay 1, for one night as a valentines treat, treatments were fully booked no problem, we were happy to have access to the spa included with room. Arrived at 15:45 checked in and told where our rooms were. Had nothing about the spa access explained to us so we had to work this out for ourselves,...

I stayed here with my husband and two sons for a weekend in February, as we were on a walking trip. My expectations were low as the price was very reasonable and it is a three star hotel. I was pleasantly surprised. The room was a large two bedroom family room which was clean and modern. The spa/ swimming pool...

This is a lovely place to stay, with access to spa included in room price. The breakfast is also included. The food bill for our dinner nearly came to the same price as the room though, it's not cheap eats! However It's lovely food though and over all a really nice place to stay. I think we'll be going again.

Have visited for twice a year over the last 8 years and always enoyed with fabulous food. This time very disappointing spa area was very cold and loungers were wet and unable to lie on them. Jacquzi not working and pool was very cold. Service in restaurant not up to usual standards and had to ask for things that had...
