Having stayed here a few times it seems its the most local to the town centre..what a shame it took us 25 min to get in to hotel after night out only to be acknowleged by a romanian who didnt give a damn..was more interested in his girlfriend than guests. Room ok cannot fault....shame about the night service....

Unhygienic. Duvets badly soiled. Slept on top of duvets as had no choice but to stay after travelling 150 miles for wedding. Nail in bed ripped jeans!!. 2/3 rooms unacceptable. Manager unbelievably rude and uncaring. Walked away when we told him we were unhappy!! The manager got us all to pay before we even saw the rooms- a mistake we...

Stayed here with my band and this place has not had a facelift since the 70s. The wardrobe was hilarious and the bathroom, well. Theres no sockets to use and the wallpaper is hanging off. If you like going back in time, this is for you !

You get what you pay for, but nice clean comfy beds, flat screen TV for the price I paid, bargain. Few Chavs giving it large over the road but, past their bed time now. Helpful friendly Staff, No parking but free car park up the road, just hide your stuff )

This hotel is old. Really really old. They claim 3 stars but it's more like 2. The rooms are rusty and out of time. But if you're looking for cheap place to spend the night in, go for it. It's overall clean and the bar is open 24 hrs. Restaurant is not bad too.

Just unclean in general. Ceilings were those of an office block old and worn. 4 dirty cups for tea and coffee and none of...

Wonderful lunch with generous portion of meat. Reasonably priced and much better than first visit which was on mother's day.w I'll visit again with family. As this is close to home I can see this becoming a regular visit.

We stayed one night at the Castle hotel, the room size was very good, each room comes with shower and toilet, you also get a kettle and tea, coffee and sugars sachet for hot drinks in your room. We had double bed in our room the mattress was not firm.
