We stayed for 5 nights in this lovely, quiet and comfortable B&B. What made this B&B memorable: the historical and architectural details of the building and rooms, breakfast variety and sustainability, walk able to town (steps are involved ,a good aerobic workout), watching the seaplanes arriving and departing in the harbor below , viewing the harbor lights with our favorite...

This four bedroom B & B is amazing! Pam and Matt were fabulous hosts. The building is historic and lovingly maintained. We walked all over Charlotte Amalie for the three days we were on St. Thomas and it truly was wonderful to climb up the hill, away from the noise and heat to our quiet, air conditioned room. The bed...

We had a wonderful 2 night stay. Pam and Matt are very gracious hosts with helpful tips and local information. The place itself is charming, immaculate and has a wonderful view from the hillside. I can't say more than what has already been said...other than the reviews are accurate. We look forward to returning.

The view from this super tranquil hilltop gem is spectacular. We loved being centrally located yet out of the fray of the jewelry and t-shirt shops. The gracious hosts, Pam and Matt, restored and styled these buildings, creating a welcoming oasis for travelers. The rooms are lovely and well equipped. We found Pam's breakfasts to be delicious, varied and generous,...

If you are lucky enough to find a unique and lovely Bed and Breakfast on St Thomas, you have to think twice about letting anyone else know about it. Pam and Matt are the hosts with the gift of being welcoming and warm, available when you need them, and disappearing when you need some quiet time. The rooms are unusual...

We stayed at At Home in the Tropics from March 4 - March 6, 2016. Our room was small, a little quirky but charming. The shower is in a separate room in the bedroom, the toilet in another separate room in the bedroom and the sink is in the bedroom. We had a great view of the harbor in Charlotte...

Pam and Mat are running an almost out of this World Great B&B in the beautiful old servant house of Govenor Von Schloten on Government Hill in Charlotte Amalie. Four extremely well appointed rooms with simple underplayed "old Copenhagen" decor, a vast wonderful terasse with great views over harbour and City and not the least Pam and Matt themselves. Just...

Our recent three day stay at At Home in the Tropics couldn't have been better. There are four rooms, and I really don't think it matters which room you choose...they're all comfortable, clean and right next to the pool and sitting/breakfast area. The breakfasts were outstanding. Pam is a talented cook and everything she made was delicious. The location of...

Last spring, when I contacted Pam at At Home In the Tropics about booking a January 2016 stay, she pointed out she and Matt were planning some changes to the property they thought would enhance their guests' experience. Because we had three previous top notch stays with Matt and Pam, I had no reservations about booking a six night stay...

A delight in every aspect. Genial hosts, a private enclave above the madding cruise ship crowds. Everything in impeccable taste, from the serenely decorated rooms to the outdoor kitchen and deck with splendid views to the sea and of the sunsets. Thoughtful touches everywhere that make the simple deluxe, from thick soft towels to the fine linens, the private fridge...
