The Galleon was perfect for our budget conscious group. Waking up and drinking a cup of coffee and enjoying the complimentary breakfast each day was the perfect start to the day before heading out. Location is tucked in to the side of the hill and you fill like you are staying with the locals rather than on an isolated resort.The...

Great hotel for a great value. My friends and I stayed for 7 days here and had an absolute blast. Gail and Harry were very helpful in guiding us to cheaper options around the island. They were extremely friendly and helpful with any questions we as a group had about where to go. The view was amazing also. This B&B...

We enjoyed our stay at The Galleon House and loved experiencing the culture of St Thomas by staying in the heart of Charlotte Amalie. Gail was very helpful and hospitable. We didn't have any cell phone service so we had to ask her and the other staff questions from time to time. Each time we asked, we were given helpful...

Nice hotel, lovely pool and view. Really friendly staff. I only stayed here for one night but would recommend it! Centrally located and convenient. There are quite a few stairs which wasn't a problem for me, but something to keep in mind.

We stayed four nights and it worked well for us. The staff is super friendly and helpful with info on the area. Three basic breakfast options are included and were a nice light start to the day but don't expect to get filled up. That said, you can purchase another breakfast for $5 which worked well for us to split....

We stayed at this B&B for one night before our sailing trip and one night after our sailing trip. The rooms are clean and quiet, but not fancy or updated at all. There is a nice pool area and eating area, but we had to leave too early to try breakfast (served at 8:30). This is not a hotel for...

Galleon house was perfect for all the basics. For those expecting more, you will be sorely disappointed. I was super skeptical after reading many less than stellar reviews. Our taxi took us right to our location and we had no problem weaving up the back stairs to our accommodations. The attendant checked us in quickly and we surveyed our room....

My wife and I stayed one night in the Galleon house after spending a week sailing around the BVI. We checked in around 3:30 pm Sunday afternoon after taking the ferry from Tortola. As other reviewers have posted, there are a lot of steps to get to the "front desk". There was another guest waiting to check in and no...

Nice people. Clean room. Very dated. Very difficult to get to room. lots and lots of stairs. No hot water. We didn't get the opportunity to report that as we got up at 4am to be ready to catch our flight out. On the plus side, amazing view from our room. We had an early flight so we did not...

Clean rooms with just the basics. Breakfast every morning on the patio was a nice bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful with tours, taxis, directions, etc. Perfect if you don't need amenities and just want a simple hotel in a convenient location.
