I did not stay at the resort, but did take the tour of the artifacts museum, which is located on the property. I cannot get a separate listing on tripadvisor for it, so I hope this will suffice. The museum is open for viewing daily, but the best thing to do is go on the tour with Sean and Marty....

We stayed here for our honeymoon. The rooms weren't as nice as I would have liked and the pool was just okay. The food at the restaurant above the pool "room with a view" i think it was called was really great. We ate there twice. The views were amazing! It was really neat to watch all the cruise ships...

The best thing about Bluebeard's Beach Club / Castle is the view. Other than that, the resort is worn down, tired, rooms are small, bathrooms are awful, towels are paper thin, and the only coffee you can find in the morning is a watered down version in the Castle store. There is no place to get breakfast other than hopping...

I arrived in St. Thomas on a very late flight, and once the taxi driver made all the necessary stops at various hotels and delivered me to Bluebeard's Castle it was after midnight. As I expected at that time, the door to the lobby was locked but was opened shortly by the night manager Charlie. After checking on my 3...

Stayed for a week in a studio unit. Very spacious, mini kitchen was all we needed. Outstanding view from our balcony. Quiet and comfortable. We had rental car and parking was free. We drove most places but also walked downtown and to the marina area. It is hilly of course so you do get great exercise walking, but there was...

We booked Bluebeard's 11 months in advance through RCI. RCI told us 2 studios for 2 couples was all they had available in St Thomas for these dates. We requested at least 4 times to be near each other or at least in the same building but this did not happen and I felt no effort was ever made to...

After arriving with friends we were disappointed to learn that after numerous phone calls to the resort explaining that we wanted/ needed rooms in the same building we were in two different buildings. The "resort" was far from full. Imagine our surprise when were awakened each morning about 4:30 am with chicken crowing for about an hour. There are chickens...

Came on a 2day business trip. Booked online. No issues or problems. The front desk ladies were accommodating and gave us maps of the area. Was escorted to the room by a young gentlemen. 3 places to eat on the premises, pool, and great views. I had a great view of the harbor and could see the docked cruise ships...

Excellent location. Very close to the Downtown Charlotte Amalie areas, both the strip malls of the Waterfront area, as well as the those in the Havensight area. I would highly recommend renting a car to explore St. Thomas. However if you choose not to..taxis are readily available and this location is perfect for walking during the day. It is within...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Bluebeard's Castle is an historic property dating back to the 1600's. The resort occupies an entire hilltop with spectacular views overlooking the harbor and town of Charlotte Amalie. Its signature red rooftops are among the first sights for arriving cruise passengers. The resort includes a centuries-old fortress bearing the name "Bluebeard," after the infamous pirate, and check-in takes place in the former residence of the Danish governor of the island. This tropical paradise is the perfect place for a private getaway as it is set on a secluded hilltop and overlooks the harbor of St. Thomas. Bluebeard's Castle is centrally located in the most desirable part of the island with world class shopping minutes away. With only a short drive from some of the most popular beaches in the Caribbean where you can enjoy boating, scuba diving, snorkeling and windsurfing. The island itself offers a wonderful assortment of duty-free shopping, world-class restaurants (including the top-rated ROOM WITH A VIEW on location!), hot night spots, and a variety of local flavor to satisfy every taste. This resort features history, breathtaking views, and easy access to town. Beaches are literally minutes away so you can visit them all including easy ferry rides to St. John and the British Virgin Islands (Tortola and Virgin Gorda). You will see why owners at the resort are passionate about their units. It is this passion that will once again be the reason that Bluebeard's Castle will become a sought after destination resort. Many lucky RCI members will take advantage of this now! The resort is in the midst of a historic multi-million dollar remodel that will change all that you have heard. The proof is found in our regular maintenance reports as well as our news and picture sections. Also, schedules of on-resort dining are now posted in these reports.
