We had an awesome time. The location is close to everything, beautiful ocean front rooms with patios overlooking the surf, great snorkling on the reef right out front. Staff was so friendly and accomodating, but they are on "island time". We found the resturant at the Palms among the best on the island. Chuck can recommend the best of diving,... More

Quiet resort. great pool and spirit of staff. If you have time for only one thing, go snorkeling with the... More

I can't say enough about this place. Customer service doesn't seem to be a #1 priority on islands, but it sure is at The Palms! I have never seen a resort owner involved as much as Chuck is. Our first day there, Chuck and Mitch took us to Point Udall for a nice little hike and some awesome snorkeling at... More

Because there are so many interesting and fun places on St. Croix, we want to make sure our guests have an opportunity to see them. Of course we are really big on snorkeling here at The Palms, so a regular hike and snorkel into other great snorkel locations is a natural fit. Glad to hear your comments on the restaurant,... More

Overall Rating is a 5 ~ Hands-down! Rooms, food, location, staff, cleanliness, grounds, pool, beach & snorkeling ~ FANTASTIC! We traveled to St. Croix for the first time, arriving on 3/5/11 with our 8 and 14 year old boys for spring break from snowy Minnesota. We had no recommendations accept for the research i had done on the islands and... More

The location of the Palms is wonderful, since it's not too far from down town Christiansted. It was $10.00 cab ride one way, which was affordable to do activities such as Buck Island snorkel, sunset cruise, kayak... The Palms also had great food & drinks with activities such as trivia night, carribean buffet w/Moko Jumbies, sunday bruch... but most of... More

My significant other and I spent a week at the Palms and we both had a great time! The entire staff went out of their way to give great service and make us feel welcome. It was our first trip to the island, so when the owner sat down with us to plan a schedule of activities, our expectations were... More

We spent 5 days at the palms on vacation with some friends. Our first trip to St Croix. the staff were very nice.We had requested 2 rooms together, but when we got there we were in one bulding and our friends were in the other. Thank you and I will pass along your compliments to our staff. After I read about the mixup on your room, I checked and found out that our front desk originally booked you next to your friends, but moved you shortly afterwards when maintenance reported a problem with your room. After maintenance fixed the problem, someone forgot to move your... More

We stayed here last October for 10 days for our annual anniversary trip. This was our fifth year in a row in the US Virgin Islands (three in St. Thomas, one in St. John), and this was the most enjoyable of all of those trips. On our vacations we just want to take it easy, sit by the water all... More

Wow, where to start. First I want to apologize to the owners/management for not posting this review sooner. We had high expectations going to the hotel from all of the wonderful reviews on TripAdvisor, and we were not dissapointed. When we arrived, Chuck greeted us upon checking in and offered us a drink from the bar which we gladly accepted.... More

I write this review with trepidation, because all in all, we loved our time here. The resort is easy to get to, and close to town. The lobby/bar/pool/restaurant area is right by the beach and it is incredibly relaxing. Upon check-in, we were invited to the bar for some free drinks. Cruzon Confusion. Good times. Our room was a first... More

I'm glad that you had a wonderful time here and thank you for the review. All of our mattresses here are top-of-the-line Serta Pillow-Top with standard dimensions. Queen size is 60"x 80", and just to be sure I confirmed the mattress in your room at that size. The pillow top does not quite extend to the edge so that may... More

The Palms at Pelican Cove sits on 7 acres of coconut palms and white sand beach, and is just 3 miles west of Christiansted. There is swimming in front of the property, and with Long Reef just a few yards off shore, excellent snorkeling (day and night) is also available. We provide complimentary snorkel gear and tours of the reef. Our freshwater pool is one of the largest on the island and is regularly used by SCUBA for introductory dive lessons. We have a tennis court and complimentary gear. There are many hiking trails on the island and we regularly make excursions with guests. There are 40 spacious rooms at the hotel, and all offer panoramic oceanfront views from expansive terraces. All rooms are air conditioned, and are equipped with a small refrigerator and coffee maker. The Palms Restaurant is located on property and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Mahogany Bar is located beachside, serves up wonderful beverages, and has a late night bar menu. The front desk is open 24/7 and security is provided around the clock. Wireless internet access is complimentary.
