Detailed Reviews
We just returned from an amazing stay at the new Indigo Hotel in Grand Cayman, and it was everything we hoped for and more. The hotel itself is gorgeous, with a modern, beqchy aesthetic. Our top floor room was spacious and beautifully appointed, with a wraparound balcony that offered stunning views of the neighborhood, canals, and a partial ocean view.
One of the highlights of our stay was the Bonny Moon Beach Club. The beachside service was top-notch, with a special shout out to Neil, who made us feel incredibly welcome and took excellent care of us. The beach itself is spectacular. Seven Mile Beach is, without a doubt, the best we’ve ever visited. The water was crystal clear, warm, and completely free of seaweed. The sand was so soft it felt like walking on powder. It’s quiet during the off-season but does get busier when cruise ships are in port.
Red Sail Sports at the Kimpton is a short walk along the beach. We hopped on a catamaran for the Kittiwake and reef snorkeling tour. The snorkeling was fantastic, with clear waters and a great variety of fish and coral. Totally worth it!
The sunsets were nothing short of spectacular—something we looked forward to every evening. The Pom Pom rooftop bar was another favorite spot of ours, with its sleek design and excellent drinks. We also thoroughly enjoyed our meals at Catalina and the pool bar restaurant. Everything was fresh and well-prepared.
While Grand Cayman can be an expensive destination, we found the Indigo Hotel to be excellent value for money. Whether you're traveling as a couple or with family, this place is highly recommended. We’re already planning our return trip!
For dining off-site, we highly recommend the Cracked Conch. The local snapper and tuna catch of the day were both fantastic, and the setting right on the water added to the beautiful ambiance.
All in all, Indigo Hotel made our Grand Cayman trip unforgettable. We can't wait to come back!

This resort's boho-chic vibe was exactly what I was looking for and it exceeded expectations. The room was perfectly [and sustainably] equipped with bottled water (in glass carafes), nice toiletries, and upscale finishes, which gave this resort a luxurious feel. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind; they all went out of their way to ensure guests were well taken care of and noticed.
I went on a solo trip during hurricane season, and after most kids have gone back to school, so I felt like I had the resort all to myself.
The walkable beach access is semi private; the resort fee includes access to Bonny Moon's services and chairs and umbrellas, so it was still more private than the public beach access in the shared parking lot.
Bonus is ability to use their beach bikes, which allowed more exploration without having a vehicle. Also, Kimpton is right next door, so you can book a spa date or have more walkable restaurant options. If you're feeling extra lazy, the staff will drive you over in their golf carts.
Overall incredibly upscale feel and experience. Highly recommend.

We stayed at The Indigo Grand Cayman & Bonny Moon was our associated Beach Club. We got beds & towels included. Bonny Moon was absolutely incredible & we spent a lot of time there during our 12 night stay. The food was excellent & the service incredible. A special mention to Neil who works his absolute arse off all day to make sure everyone is hydrated, fed & has the drinks they want. Not once did we have to go looking for service, Neil & his colleagues were there.
We dined at Bonny Moon in the evening & it was one of our favourite places on the island to eat, not just for the food, but for the beach front setting and the high level service their staff provide.
We can’t wait to return to the island after our first trip & we will be straight back to Bonny Moon on our return.
It’s super lively on a Sunday, with DJ’s similar to an Ibiza vibe, a must visit!

We just came back from our incredible stay at Hotel Indigo! This hotel is an amazing new addition to the host of hotels that already exist in Grand Cayman! The service is exceptional and their staff is friendly and accommodating. Wrisha and her team helped make our family vacation an amazing experience! And the staff, which there are too many to name were exceptional!! They acknowledged we were celebrating my daughter’s birthday, and the surprised treats in her room made it extra special! This hotel is absolutely beautiful and the artwork is all from local artists! The rooms have nice decor with beautiful floor to ceiling glass doors leading out to the balcony. The beds are definitely comfy. We didn’t eat at all the restaurants but Breakfast at Catalina’s was always delicious.
This hotel is not on the beach, but we timed the walk and it’s a 3-5 minute walk to the beach depending how fast or slow you go! And if you don’t feel like walking, they will drive you down to the beach in their golf carts- you just have to ask!! The Indigo has set up beach service partnering with Bonny Moon Beach Club which provide Hotel Indigo guests with complimentary chairs and umbrellas!! We did tip the beach attendants each day and we were never without ice water!! The beach is beyond beautiful with warm crystal clear water! Nathan and Neil were awesome waiters at the Bonny Moon Beach Club!!!
Also, not to be missed is the roof top bar Pom Pom serving great drinks and food- the view was so pretty. This hotel is new, but there was never a hiccup with service - actually their service stands out!!! I’ve been to other hotels on the island and this hotel really goes out of their way to make your stay a place you’ll want to come back again! I can’t recommend the restaurants on property because we ate elsewhere for dinner. Our favorite is Tillies, this is not to be missed… their food and service is exceptional. My other favorites are Luca, La Vele, we love the pizza at Ragazzi and for casual Cracked Conch.
This hotel is further down on the west end- so make sure you bring extra money for cabs or rent a car because you are not within walking distance to anything but the Seafire hotel.
My only suggestion for the hotel would be the coffee in the mornings… a complimentary coffee station from 7-10 am would be amazing. The coffee in the rooms were good, but sometimes your looking for a regular cup of coffee. And their cafe didn’t serve actual coffee - you would have to go into the restaurant to buy a cup which ends up taking longer than you want.
We love this hotel and will be back again!!

Dear Dluvswater, Thank you for sharing your fantastic experience at Hotel Indigo! It sounds like you and your family had an unforgettable stay, filled with exceptional service and thoughtful touches that made your daughter’s birthday extra special. Wrisha and her team clearly went above and beyond to ensure your visit was perfect, and it's great to hear that so many staff members made a positive impact on your stay. The hotel's design, featuring local artwork and modern decor, seems to add a unique and charming touch to the overall experience. Even though it’s not directly on the beach, the quick walk or convenient golf cart ride, along with the excellent beach service at Bonny Moon Beach Club, made your beach days just as enjoyable as if you were beachfront. Nathan and Neil sound like they provided top-notch service as well! Your highlights of the rooftop bar Pom Pom and the comfortable rooms with stunning views make this hotel sound like a real gem in Grand Cayman. It’s also helpful that you pointed out some of your favorite dining spots on the island, giving others great recommendations for their visit. Your suggestion about a complimentary morning coffee station is spot on—it would be a great addition for those looking for a quick and easy cup to start their day. It’s wonderful to hear that despite being a new hotel, there were no service hiccups and that you’re already planning to return. Thank you again for the detailed review—it’s clear that Hotel Indigo is a place worth visiting! Stay Curious! Macmillan Ndipnu Big Mac Assistant Front Office Manager Hotel Indigo® Grand Cayman

Outstanding Stay!

First time in Cayman and this resort exceeded our expectations! Newly hotel, very clean, service is top tier!
Couldn't recommend this place more, if I could give 10 stars I would.
Biggest thing for us was how amazing both the beach and the pool were. Pictures don't do it justice. Plenty of space on the beach, with towels, umbrellas and chairs readily available. It's a 2 minute walk, or a golf cart ride from the hotel, if you don't feel like walking. Massive pool, with a hot tub.
Within a minute or two of texting the front desk there would be someone there to take your order or deliver anything you need. Both the drinks and food were incredible. So many different options, you can be there for a week and not get the same thing twice. The rooms were spacious, and we had a balcony with two chairs. Everything in the hotel was clean, you constantly find someone cleaning doors, elevators and rooms during the day.
Grand Cayman in general is expensive. It's the entire island, not just the hotel. With that being understood the prices were reasonable, and they have multiple different restaurants. The area around the resort is safe and we were able to venture out at night and try some of the surrounding restaurants. Everyone at the front desk made sure we had everything we needed from the second we walked in they set the tone for our trip and was fantastic! Can't wait to recommend this to all.

We stayed at this hotel indigo for 6 nights and we couldn’t be happier with our stay. The rooms are amazing and spacious, with 180 degree views of the island. The beach is only a 2 minute walk away and we have never seen water that clear before. The pools and Hotub are beautiful.
The restaurants Catalina and Milkberry had loads of options and amazing service. My favorites from Milkberry are the Combi roll and spicy cauliflower. Our server Rodnel was amazing and made sure to memorize all of our names and our regular orders. Cynthia and Melvy at Catalina also added to our experience. The breakfast buffet had a huge range of options to choose from which are all delicious.
We have never felt as welcomed as we did here at any other hotel. The staff here are truly so friendly and made us feel like family. They remembered our names and at many points of the stay checked in on us.
Huge thanks to Mac at the reception who was a huge part of our stay. He always greeted us with positivity and smiles. Wrisha at the front desk was extremely helpful in booking activities and was so friendly.
I have honestly never stayed in a hotel with staff this friendly who are willing to go above and beyond for your experience. I cannot wait until I come back and stay here.

I have been an IHG member for 20 years and this has been one of my favorite hotels for so many wonderful reasons. They just opened and the staff, guest services and the restaurants have been top notch. The location is much more relaxing than the rest of the 7 mile beach hotels.
Wrisha reached out days prior to our arrival to anticipate any needs and she and guest services sure rolled out the red carpet for us.
From the time Paolo received us at the driveway to breakfast with Renuka, Mireia, Amanda, Antonio, Rodnel, Ace, Vikash and Vivek, we were made at home. There were so many friendly staff that made our stay so special. May and her staff at poolside are always at the ready and welcoming. Starsky, RJ, Phillip of Bata Bar will keep you well hydrated. Mac and Danu always welcome you with a friendly hello or a happy send off. There were many other nameless staff who made our vacation extra memorable. The staff was friendly without being overbearing and very accomodating.
We dined at several restaurants at the Westin, Ritz and Marriott and we were remorseful that we didn't just eat all our dinners at Hotel Indigo. PomPom has a wonderful view of 7 mile beach, Milkberry has sushi that parallels Japan's and Rasa is a steal for the quality of food they serve. My husband and I are already wanting to return ASAP.

The new Hotel Indigo in Grand Cayman is an absolute divine place to stay.
It just opened a few months ago, and is a beautiful well thought out property that is a short walk from the beach and has a beach club partnership with Bonny Moon, a new restaurant/beach club. The hotel has the only rooftop bar in Grand Cayman so truly has everything you could want at a property!
The rooms are spotless and well decorated. We recently stayed at Hotel Indigo for Labor Day weekend, and I must say, my favorite part was the breakfast experience was exceptional. The staff in the breakfast area were not only incredibly friendly but also impressively attentive. HUGE shout out to Rodnell, who remembered our orders perfectly each day, ensuring that we had everything we needed without having to ask. They also left us a personalized thank you card with handwritten signatures on our last day of breakfast. Truly above and beyond!
It was clear that the staff took great pride in maintaining a spotless, perfect, yet vibey experience. Also, the s'mores pancake was top notch and delicious.
Overall, the combination of attentive service, a spotless setting, and a warm, welcoming attitude from the staff made breakfast at Hotel Indigo a delightful start to each day of our stay. Highly recommend staying here overall. We'll definitely be back!!

This hotel has been amazing! The service is outstanding. Coming from the hospitality field, I have high expectations and the Indigo Grand Cayman have far exceeded that.
From the moment we arrived, we felt the warmth and welcome of all the staff. From the bellman to Mac from the front desk. At check in, he immediately recognized my IHG status and thanked me for my loyalty. He even upgraded our room - which was breathtaking to wake up to the Seven Mile beach! During this time, Wrisha, the concierge, handed us cold towels and drinks, not forgetting to bring a juice for our son too! Wrisha then gave us a short tour of the hotel pool, restaurants, then led us to the elevator. Mei and Newton from the pool area was exceptional! They greeted us each and every time we walk past. Mei always stopped by to make sure we were enjoying ourselves whenever she saw us. Phillip from the Bata Bar was a good server. We ate at both Catalina and Milkberry. From the hostess to Laura, Karan, and supervisor Tali were all absolutely amazing! Tali gave our son the VIP treatment. Our son eats slow, so we usually ask for his dinner to come out with our appetizer. When Laura noticed his kid’s pizza was not out yet, she said she’d check up on it. Tali, specially, came by and spoke to our son and ensured it be out soon. On our last night he packed William some cookies for the flight the next day. They became best friends! The food from the bar to the restaurants were delicious! The rooftop had such a beautiful view as well. We ordered room service for breakfast our final morning and the lady who took our order was so friendly over the phone. Finally, we met Paul, the bellman, who helped take our family photo one night. Upon check out, it was Paul who helped us and specially remembered our son.
We interacted with a lot more staff throughout the stay that we did not get the names of. Even though their names are not mentioned, they don’t fall short on getting recognition. I even received text messages daily from Chelsea, Kylie, Jesus, Rebecca to see if I needed anything else throughout my stay. Everyone from the back of the house to the front of the house to security has been absolutely hospitable! Their smiles are so genuine that it really warms our hearts. Thank you to everyone at Indigo Grand Cayman for my family and I, giving us the best vacation yet!

Yes they do!
Hello, the breakfast buffet at Indigo is 34 KYD or 42.5 USD, plus gratuity. If you’re looking for something more elaborate, you should try the menu options at Catalina restaurant in the hotel. We enjoyed the breakfast burritos and the wellness shot—10/10.
