Spectacularly located resort, Great bar, food, live music and staff. GM Michael runs a charming but tight ship. We also enjoyed the massage and manicure services. Highly recommended! We shall return.
Green Fig is an absolutely wonderful haven of beauty, relaxation and wonderful service. All of the staff are delightful (Tim, Paul, Yo Yo, Tasha, Suzette, Michael, Spenser, Onion and everyone else!). The location on the hill makes you feel like you are in your own eco system but with very easy access to the beach and the town of Soufriere. My excursions were very well organised. Everything ran like clockwork. My room (521) had the most stunning view (as does the bar!). I cannot recommend this place enough. Having visited Rodney Bay on a day trip, Soufriere and Green Fig wins hands down in my opinion as a base to explore s beautiful island.
We loved Green Fig! We came with two other friend groups and we loved the vibe. But the PEOPLE were the best part. Lewis, Lee, and Onion in particular. Everyone was so fun and kind! There are many stairs, so keep that in mind when booking. There are rooms that are closer to the pool/bar/restaurant with less stairs. It helped me work off some of the yummy food and drinks we had. Thank you for everything Green Fig! We would definitely return!
Green Fig Resort and Spa was a delightful introduction to St. Lucia. My wife and I made this resort our first stop on the honeymoon. As I'm sure many have noted, the view is just spectacular. I've never stayed anywhere with such a view, it really added something to be able to wake up each morning and greet the town of Soufriere with Petit Piton towering above it. Our room - #412 - was delightful. Spencer did a great job setting it up. Comfortable bed, and the AC unit was easy to use. I spent a lot of time just sitting out on the patio reading, observing, and listening to the sounds of town below. We ate at the restaurant almost every night. While the food was not bad by any means, I think better options can be found in town for a better price. It's difficult to access the resort on foot at night, because of steep slopes and windy roads with traffic. So we just ate at the restaurant and lived with it. I'm sure this is also the case with any hotel or resort that is not directly in town. The rum punch at this resort is the best rum punch I tasted in St. Lucia. We went to Soufriere, Gros Islet, Rodney Bay, and Marigot Bay. We had rum punch in each location, and this one is by far the best. Onion the bartender is the man. He picks great music as well. Excursions and taxis are pricey, but that's the same for all resorts. That said, if you want seamlessness and peace of mind the resort can take care of everything for you. Ravi is a great driver and very knowledgeable. If you're looking to save a little cash, try to find a locally owned taxi/excursion service that can offer you better deals when you're walking around Soufriere.…
We had a wonderful stay at Green Fig Resort. The staff was so nice and they made sure we had everything we needed or wanted. You can arrange all of your excursions through them which is very convenient. We did the Island Explorer with Ravi and he tailored the experience to our interests. Tasha and Spencer were very helpful in arranging excursions and rides for us. The drivers are knowledgeable and professional. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed the continental breakfast. It was easy enough to add on if you wanted something more. The view from our room was beyond what we could have hoped for - we sure missed it when we got back home. Onion can mix any drink at the bar and is a lot of fun! The entertainment was nice to relax to in the evenings, especially the steel drums. If spa treatments are your thing see Lauren at Touch Tranquility because she did wonders for my back. We felt like Green Fig exceeded our expectations and it is definitely a resort we would visit again!…
The staff was outstanding! Anything we asked for was immediately addressed. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. All planned excursions were exactly as advertised. The staff did a great job of arranging transportation to and from each location. And each one of the drivers was very knowledgeable about the excursions and information about the country. If I could change one thing, it would be to inform guest about the continental breakfast menu. It was less than appealing. Room service was excellent with respect to cleaning. Our room was very clean and when we requested service, it was prompt. Side note: pave the road leading to the resort. We requested room service once during our stay and did not receive table trays to eat on or napkins. I want to believe that the person working that day was not on top of the their game and it was just an oversight. However, there were a couple of occasions during breakfast when we had to request things that should be standard. Overall, the experience and stay was excellent and extremely enjoyable. We would definitely stay at the Green Fig again and would recommend it to others. …
We had a great stay at Green Fig! The location is perfect for excursions and walks into town. The staff was extremely helpful coordinating excursions (snorkeling, boat ride, hiking Gros Piton, etc.) and transportation (restaurants, airport, etc.). The view from the room was very special--definitely a highlight! The hotel's restaurant and bar were also enjoyable--great breakfast every morning and live music during dinner. We highly recommend Green Fig!
I’m so happy I listened to the reviews and chose Green Fig! I did a lot of research on St. Lucia hotels and Green Fig had by far the best reviews for service, and our experience didn’t disappoint! My partner and I were celebrating a special occasion and the staff at Green Fig went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect experience. They were so helpful in preparing the room pre-arrival and did an incredible job with setting up a private dinner (highly recommend!) We booked the romance suite with the plunge pool which was amazing — the plunge pool is a great addition, I’d just ask them if your room has the pool inside or outside to clarify. The hotel itself was very nature-y and had an authentic St. Lucia vibe, but the rooms were surprisingly mosquito free. It wasn’t the fanciest resort but my partner and I really appreciated the unique authenticity. The service was impeccable throughout and because of the small number of rooms, the resort felt extra intimate. The food was not bad as well! We did a tour package with them that included the Tet Paul nature hike, volcanic mud bath, botanical gardens, and snorkeling near sugar beach and it was perfect. It was pretty casual and a lot of fun and our driver was super friendly. We got to do all the activities we wanted to in one day! Definitely recommend if you’re staying in the Soufrieres. The resort does have a lot of steps so you should keep that in mind but it’s not a problem for any average traveler. Their hot tub was also not yet ready which was a shame but hopefully it’ll be ready for next time we go! All minor things; we absolutely recommend this well-priced resort for anyone visiting St. Lucia! …
Went as a couple for fun and relaxation. Accommodations were amazing and the front desk very helpful in arranging tours and giving directions. Everyone super friendly and the food was fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed the view and the pools. Be aware the resort is essentially the side of a mountain and there's a very steep driveway and lots of stairs to walk--but it gave us a great little workout every day. Enjoyed the music at night and climbing up to the tree-house lookout.
This property is a great value to use as a home base to explore the heart of St Lucia as it is built into the cliff of the city. Let them help you plan your excursions, worth it for everything we did. Plan to eat locally often and not on property as food was decent but didn’t leave an impression. We are spending the second half of our trip in the North of the island, if you have time & resources to do both you will get the most out of your trip! I did not find it as easy to get to the beach from Green Fig but there are some stunning beaches nearby, just look up the best way to spend the day there (public is not always free, which is ok if you’re prepared for it). The pace is slower, which was needed for me but also took some getting used to! Also there will be noise from the city day and night, it took a short time to adjust to but I think it added to the character of the resort. Some repairs and updating needed, but they were making some as we were there - it was also the very beginning of peak season. Overall I would recommend if you are a little more adventurous! …
