I had the hamburger, which was excellent until I tried my wife's fish sandwich which was even better. I had a chocolate banana daiquiri which was smooth and sweet and my wife had a salted caramel martini which was awesome. We did the chocolate making...More

We find that the hamburger and fish sandwich are firm favourites of our cacao cuisine menu – we’re glad you enjoyed them too! We like to think the chocolate-making experience gives you a real insight into the handmade chocolate process straight from the tree, so...More

Stayed for 4 nights for a milestone birthday. The setting is spectacular. The dining really is top-notch. Kudos to the chef and kitchen staff. I had some memorable meals akin to big-city dining. In my opinion breakfast outdid the Four Seasons. I would definitely recommend...More

A beautiful small resort in an incredible setting. Wonderful staff, large comfortable room, excellent food - creative use of chocolate, not over the top except for desserts. The grounds and the self-guided trails are outstanding, and the optional activities - snorkeling, chocolate-making - are very...More

They sell chocolate made on the plantation, jute bags, cosmetic stuff. Dont think they sell much if any of the things you can buy in their shops though

We took a taxi from Ladera (hotel directly across the street) to the base of the Gros Piton to do the guided hike. It was quick, maybe 15 minutes.
