Charles and Antonia are so friendly and helpful! This place is on a cocoa plantation but it offers so much more! The pool over looks orange trees which you can pick fruit for yourself! Sitting on the swing in the evening at the great house just watching the fireflies put on a light show is out of this world! You...

Our family of four stayed at La Dauphine for two nights and wish it could have been more! We started in Castries and found this home high above the city of Soufriere to be a lovely retreat. As mentioned in other reviews, the rich greenery and prolific fruit and spices growing on the estate make it even more special. There...

We stayed at La Dauphine Estate for 3 nights as part of the Adventure package booked through Villa Beach Cottages (separate review posted). We were there with another couple and the four of us were fortunate enough to have the whole estate to ourselves! Upon our arrival we were greeted by Antonia, the housekeeper. She had cooked a meal for...

I have stayed here more than once. this is a very special place. The peace and quiet you get here is unbelievable. There are no tvs. You hear the rustle of trees and rain. The rooms are great. you will need a car but you can easily get one as the owners have a car rental company. The place I...

We had one night here to experience a working plantation and I just wish we had stayed longer here. Swimming in the infinity pool was beautiful just looking up and seeing the rainforest all around. Seeing all the fruits growing on the trees, you felt so close to nature. Was wonderful to meet Charles the estate manager who showed us...

After the hustle of Rodney Bay we enjoyed our peaceful stay here immensely. I have never drunk so much fresh fruit juice; the novelty of picking and juicing ones own citrus fruits never wore off. Staff are delightful, we we lucky to be provided with some of Antonia's rum cake..."it's the black cake I love".

We enjoyed a relaxing 4 day break at the end of our St Lucia holiday at La Dauphine. The house feels untouched since it's Victorian heyday but has all modern conveniences. The infinity pool is magnificent. After a swim in the evening you can look out at the lush rainforested estate and pick the fruits you want to enjoy with...

This diamond in the rough estate house is perfect for a family retreat. Both my husband and I lead very busy career lives. With two young boys, we often look for stacation venues which permit us a retreat from the distractions of life. This was perfect. Being able to hand pick and eat fresh fruit (cocoa) off the tree, swim...

We stayed for 3 nights in Chateau Lafitte (3 adults) and it was a tropical paradise. There are a variety of fruit trees (avocado, citrus, bananas) which we were able to eat while there, and beautiful tropical flowers as far as the eye can see. There are also cacao trees everywhere! Charles, the estate manager, gave us a wonderful tour...

La Dauphine is the most beautiful place I have ever visited - I cannot recommend staying here highly enough. La Dauphine offers an experience you just wont get anywhere else, in my opinion even if you pay 10 times more for the luxury hotels. My boyfriend and I were extremely lucky to get to stay in the main plantation house...
