we stayed for 9 nights and enjoyed it immensely. It is what we wanted and needed but it wont be for everyone. If you want to relaxing location this is for you. The food is excellent, the gardens lovely and there is space between the waterside edge chalets where we stayed. We liked our spot very much and will go...

Outstanding service across the board! Best food on the island! This place is definitely a couple's getaway spot. Kids will not have a lot to do here. There are only 26 room and most couple's are on excursions during the day, so the whole place feels like a private resort. The beach is small and cozy. There are hardly any...

We heard that we should check out Calabash from another cruise ship passenger. We purchased a day pass- and stayed the whole day. Their math was a little off so instead of the $20 per person it was more like $35 but we didn't want to argue right off of the bat. I would charge it if I were you...

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Calabash Resort in Grenada. After sailing for 10 days in the southern Caribbean this lovely resort was just what we needed to decompress. We were met at the airport by a driver who called ahead to inform Zack, the manager, that we were en route. A gin and tonic...

My husband and I really enjoyed Calabash. We found the staff accommodating and friendly. The resort is small enough that everyone remembers you and your preferences. I found everyone greets you with a smile or good day. The beach is small and secluded so you can really just relax here on the loungers provided. We did the all inclusive and...

It's difficult to add to what others have said! The staff are great - we found them all to be very helpful in a 'joined up' way. We were greeted in arrival by the general manager, Unita who seemed to be everywhere making sure that everything was running smoothly. The food was excellent - lots of local seafood cooked and...

If you want a quaint place to enjoy a couples get away then Calabash Cove Resort is the place to go; either for a day pass / lunch, a special romantic dinner or a weeklong stay while you enjoy St Lucia… The view from the lobby and restaurant is simply stunning; overlooking the Caribbean Sea and “Choc Bay”; all you...

I only popped up to the Calabash for a drink with a friend, who had deliberately told me nothing about where I was going. Well, you walk into the lobby and your jaw drops. The lobby is elegant and stunning in its own right, but it frames the most incredible view of the sea. Panoramic is an understatement. 180 degree...

We just returned from the Calabash Cove where we stayed 10 days in a swim-up suite. It was a wonderful stay. All was just perfect. The staff, the room, the pool, the beach and the restaurant and of course the view. We were not able to find any flaw. Everyone at the Calabash Cove was so friendly and helpful. From...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Tucked away on gently sloping, tropical beachfront on the northwest coast of the island, Calabash Cove is one of just a select few five-star resorts on St. Lucia. Nestled in the sheltered bay of Bonaire Estate, Calabash Cove is perched on a hillside sloping gently towards the Caribbean Sea, where cool ocean breezes provide a wonderful respite and the turquoise sea is offset by the vibrant green of tropical vegetation and views of Walcott Island. A private beach and nearby coral reef provide the perfect place to rest, reflect and dream. The resort has been designed with great care to complement and exist in harmony with the beauty of the natural surroundings. The main buildings of the hotel, such as the lobby, restaurant, bar, sanctuary, and infinity pool with waterfall lie on a slope, with the villas in the midst of lush vegetation perfectly situated to view nightly sunsets. The natural elements of earth, wind, light and water are represented in the exotic wood, stone and natural materials used in the composition of the buildings. The peaceful and tranquil gardens, under the care of one of the finest landscape architects in the Caribbean, have been created to capture and optimize the natural splendor of the area and are filled with vibrant, fragrant flowers set amid groves of trees. ... more   less
