We went on vacation with our 2 best friends for 7 days in St Lucia and absolutely loved Calabash Cove. Don’t think, just book it and it will be the best decision you will make. It’s a beautiful small boutique resort with wonderful staff, delicious food, and amazing views. We will most certainly be back!
This review is actually almost a year old as my wife and I got married at Calabash Cove last summer. Rohan from start to finish was amazing, from the pre-planning to the playing of the wedding songs to ensuring everything was flawless. Thank you my friend. Patrick, our pool bartender turned lifelong friend not only made amazing drinks, but made amazing suggestions when exploring the island off site. I believe he’s on a cruise currently, can’t wait to see you again my friend. We had villa number nine which was the most secluded. Plunge pool, cleaning staff, room amazing. The staff, food and the drinks were incredible, every daily special blew us away. Small beach, but decent snorkeling. It was still during Covid so the fitness center was small and the spa isn’t your typical “Vegas strip blow you away” facility. However, we had massages on the beach and they were some of the best we’ve ever experienced. When you drive up to the property and step out of the vehicle, you know you have arrived because it’s one of the most breathtaking views you will ever see. We made friends at the pool bar who cheered us on during the wedding ceremony which was completely unexpected and wonderful. The morning of the wedding, this staff literally wove different trees on the property into the archway that we said our vows under. The wedding photographer made a recording of the pics and the drone video, they are hanging up everywhere in our home, he made the photos look fake they were so breathtaking, We have done multiple all inclusive’s on St Lucia. You can’t beat the staff, the food, the drinks, or the accommodations at Calabash Cove.…
My wife and I had an amazing time on our baby moon at calabash Cove. We stayed in a cottage with a plunge pool, and a view of the ocean. The cottage was pristine, comfortable, and occupied some of the best real estate on the planet! But what made our stay special was the people. Luanne, Daniel, both Kevins, and the rest of the staff were outstanding. Although we spent most of our time relaxing in the cottage, or on the beach, the staff signed us up with a snorkeling tour that was well worth it! The food at the restaurant is great, there are decent vegetarian options, and the cottage is literally steps from the beach. We also got massages at the spa which were great and reasonably priced. I spent weeks and weeks researching resorts in St. Lucia before choosing this one, and I am thoroughly pleased with the decision. While I hope, this post helps travelers choose calabash Cove, personally, it is much more a thank you to the amazing people who made our trip so special.…
My wife and I stayed at Calabash Cove for a week to celebrate her 50th birthday, and we could not have asked for a better experience! The resort is beautiful, private, and so peaceful. The amazing staff catered to our every whim and arranged all of our excursions for us. The food and drink are top notch, too. We will be back!
The place was amazing! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Great view from the resort. We booked all of our excursions through the resort and had no issues. The resort wasn't over crowded which was a plus for us.
The facilities, staff and accommodation were excellent. I have no qualms about recommending calabash cove as a location. We hope to return next year. Nothing was too much trouble for the first class staff. Clearly a jewel in St Lucia’s crown
We stayed at Calabash Cove for one week for our honeymoon. The staff were all incredibly accommodating and friendly. We did the all-inclusive option and felt it was well worth it. My husband is a "meat and potatoes" guy, so had a harder time finding things he liked on the restaurant menu, but by the end of the week, he found quite a few options that he really enjoyed. I do agree with some other reviewers that the menu could be hit or miss, but mostly hits. The pains aux chocolat and chocolate brownie were SO good. The view from the open-air restaurant is one I will never forget. It made everything taste better. The live singing or instruments at dinner was the perfect touch. The first night we were there, we had been upgraded from the swim-up suite we booked, to one of the cottages. I was adamant about staying in a swim-up suite, so thankfully we were moved the next day and I am so glad. I think the swim-up suites are the best rooms. They are smaller than the cottages with less privacy, but have the best views, are closest to the pool bar and restaurant, and had bigger jacuzzi tub. The rooms were comparable to many other island resorts and could maybe use a little updating. The staff at the front desk was super helpful with all questions and booking excursions and taxis. The staff at the restaurant and pool bar and the security staff were all so great and made our stay even better. If you are looking for a quiet, intimate, and low-key stay in paradise - Calabash Cove is it.…
Calabash Cove was beautiful. The private beach was very clean and nicer than other beaches we visited here. The pool area and restaurant space/ lobby are quite large and clean. Something I loved about these spaces was that you never had to fight for a cabana or spot by the pool or beach, there are plenty of options available in the shade and the sun. There are kayaks, paddle boards, etc. to take out for a spin (and they also have life jackets to accompany them.) We stayed in a cottage and it was great. It had its own private pool and the deck area had an amazing view. Some aspects of the room could do with some updates, but overall nice and comfortable. The staff was so lovely, very friendly and respectful. The service was great, a little bit slow, but in step with the culture. The food at the restaurant was overall pretty good. While the ingredients were sufficient, the execution left something to be desired. We loved our stay and will be recommending it to friends and family!…
Calabash Cove was everything we hope for. A beautiful, green and peaceful place with friendly, attentive and helpful staff. The gardens are wonderful with plenty of nooks to explore and the beach is perfect. Never too busy even though it is always fully booked!
Beautiful place. The staff really make this resort. You're never waiting on drinks or chairs. If you need the front desk they pick right up. We stay here and ti kaye. Would have been 5 stars if not for a couple issues. I don't think you would be disappointed staying here.
