I just got back last night from a wonderful trip to St. Lucia. After weeks of researching I finally took a chance and booked our honeymoon at Calabash Cove Resort and Spa. My husband agrees, it was such an amazing experience. We were treated with such care and great hospitality. They knew it was our honeymoon and upgraded us from...

This looked like our sort of place, small & laid back but with 5 star service, we weren't disappointed! Our waterside cottage was spacious with rustic charm & a nice plunge pool, the beach was secluded, safe & clean, the gardens are lush & well tended (the gardeners will prepare a fresh coconut for you straight from the tree). The...

We stayed for 9 days at this property. The gardens are absolutely lovely, the beach area is very attractive and the restaurant has a stunning view of the bay. Breakfast and dinner is served in the main restaurant, and the food is of a very high standard. There are 84 steps down to the beach and to the garden cottages,...

Just home now from a wonderful stay at Calabash Cove and it's hard to summarize how much we loved it! My husband and I went for our 15th anniversary and we needed to get away from it ALL (jobs, kids, daily mayhem) and boy did Calabash Cove hit the mark! Calabash is a small hotel (25 rooms total) and at...

We recently stayed at Calabash Cove for our 35th wedding anniversary. What an amazing place! The views are incredible, the food is wonderful and the staff is amazing. If you want a smaller, quiet, personal resort, this is the place to stay

Finally had a chance to enjoy a relaxing dinner with with friends by life music at Calabash Cove again. As always the calamari was nice and crispy and the grilled mahi mahi with polenta cakes and fresh vegetables just right. And definitely nowhere greasy!

We stayed here on the first week of our honeymoon back in January 2015 (it wont let me choose that far back on the date!). We had one of the waters edge cottages which was fantastic!! This isnt going to be a long review and that is for one reason - everything about this place is amazing! The food, the...

Hubby and I opted to spend part two of our honeymoon in beautiful St Lucia! (part one we spent on Palm Island in the Grenadines) We had done our research and me being prone to motion sickness did NOT want to even chance it with the two hour windy road car ride from the airport to calabash - so we...

Stayed in the hotel part. The room as nice and big with a jacuzzi in the center and beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony. Service was top of the line! Very quiet with an excellent restaurant in the hotel. And the price was very reasonable. I would come back. Booked the wet 'n wild tour from the hotel...10...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Tucked away on gently sloping, tropical beachfront on the northwest coast of the island, Calabash Cove is one of just a select few five-star resorts on St. Lucia. Nestled in the sheltered bay of Bonaire Estate, Calabash Cove is perched on a hillside sloping gently towards the Caribbean Sea, where cool ocean breezes provide a wonderful respite and the turquoise sea is offset by the vibrant green of tropical vegetation and views of Walcott Island. A private beach and nearby coral reef provide the perfect place to rest, reflect and dream. The resort has been designed with great care to complement and exist in harmony with the beauty of the natural surroundings. The main buildings of the hotel, such as the lobby, restaurant, bar, sanctuary, and infinity pool with waterfall lie on a slope, with the villas in the midst of lush vegetation perfectly situated to view nightly sunsets. The natural elements of earth, wind, light and water are represented in the exotic wood, stone and natural materials used in the composition of the buildings. The peaceful and tranquil gardens, under the care of one of the finest landscape architects in the Caribbean, have been created to capture and optimize the natural splendor of the area and are filled with vibrant, fragrant flowers set amid groves of trees. ... more   less
