I am very surprised by how nice and pretty this family owned hotel is. Penny is a lovely lady and amazingly helpful and nice to us, we felt we were just at home. I would stay more days if I have more time. Everything was great and she made us very delicious breakfast.

My wife and I stayed on Vieques for the first 3 days while on our honeymoon. Stayed in the captain's quarters suite which had a 360 degree view (including view of the fort), AC, and full kitchen. They also provided us with champagne, chocolate, and strawberries when we arrived. Penny personally shuttled us to and from the small airport, and...

With all the resorts available on Vieques, the most refreshing thing to find on the island is a small family run hotel. We had all sorts of problems getting to Vieques and Penny and Kelly were helpful every step of the way! We felt welcomed and cared for by our hosts, like part of the family. This is their home...

What a beautiful hotel on a relaxing island! Penny and her niece, Kelly, were so accommodating and helpful. They shuttled us to and from the ferry and gave us great advice for things to do. The location and hotel grounds are gorgeous! The view from Sea Gate is AMAZING!!!! The comfortable beds with many amenities made our stay even better....

The staff was very proactive! They picked us up from the ferry mere minutes after arriving to Vieques and even helped us with our luggage to our room. We were treated to a first floor room with wonderful high speed ceiling fans and an awesome A/C unit. this really helped to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. They helped...

We arrived in San Juan about 4 hours late due to a storm and ended up missing the flight to Vieques. The staff at the Seagate hotel called me several times trying to arrange a taxi to the Ferry terminal which I managed to get on the next morning. I was picked up at the ferry terminal and really had...

We were there in off-season and it seemed like nothing was happening in Isabella and everything was in or close to Esperanza. Even for dinner we had to drive 20 min to Esperanza. Hotel otherwise was great; better than what I expected. It is close to ferry terminal and has horses on the property, which I though was nice. The...

This is a great place to stay for anyone interested in traveling to Vieques. It's not a fancy resort, but that isn't the point of visiting the island. Rates are reasonable and the view is great. We spent a night there and Penny and her niece were very accomodating, offering complimentary transport to and from the ferry. We had caught...

We only had the opportunity to stay at the hotel one night since we were in Vieques for a wedding and staying on the main island the rest of the time. The hotel is run and staffed by the owner and her family and has been family run since the 1970s. They were super helpful and accommodating, the grounds were...

I've stayed at some really nice resorts & my trip to Puerto Rico included some really cool resorts but Seagate was by far the most enjoyable experience! Location: Vieques is so amazing! If I can go back to PR, I'll be spending all of my time in Vuiques & Culebra! The specific location of Seagate is by a fort &...
