So glad my wife found this gem. What makes it great is that it is not a normal run of the mill hotel. Little rough and ready but that is what makes it special. Penny and her crew are all very friendly and helpful. What really won me over was the multitude of animals that abound on the property. Since...

My wife found this little hotel in Vieques and it was really cool. As you can tell from all the other reviews the hotel owner and staff are great and take time to give you personalized service...and that is well before you even arrive! We only did an overnight stay in Vieques because we had the bio bay booked and...

We loved this little hotel, it was very cozy, clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing we didn't like (hence the 4 stars) was the breakfast, it was awful! got to work on that. It was a little ways from the beach, so if you stay there you need to either rent a car or have...

Vieques is such an enchanting place. I'll admit in trying to plan to get out of San Juan and deciding between Vieques or Isla de Culebra, I had been wondering if I chose the wrong island. I'm sure there is no place like SeaGate and no one like Peggy on Culebra! This place is a gem if you are looking...

Made a last minute decision to take the ferry over to Vieques during our week of exploring the island. We were not disappointed when we landed at this gem of a hotel! Penny picked us up at the ferry and even dropped us off at a bar to watch the sunset, before coming back to get us and bringing us...

Stayed here on recommendation from local friends. Rooms were clean with great views of the fort and the ocean. Management/staff were very pleasant and helpful. They are able to assist in arranging day trips. Breakfast was a little disappointing but overall this is a GREAT value for the location, views, and rooms.

We were recommended Seagate Hotel by our local friend in Vieques and I have to say this has been one of the most charming cozy hotels I’ve stayed in. This hotel has its own character overlooking the ocean, hills and historic Fort. Kelly (Mangaer) was just amazing handling our reservation. Penny (Owner) really takes pride in what she does and...

My husband and I just got to stay one night here, but it was a treat! Penny picked us up and was so helpful and so we're the other hosts! They have rescue horses, kitties, and a few dogs, chickens, and lizards around every corner! The room was awesome and better than the expensive hotel we stayed at before! Big...

We stayed at SeaGate on April 21st what a cute little rustic place. It deff has its own character. Not a 5-star place but big rooms, cumffy beds, cold ac and great views. What more could you ask for. We rented our own jeep and drove ourselves to the hotel. Might be a need for better parking spots but that...

Penny was amazing. She picked us up, connected us with someone who showed us the bioluminescent bay, and made Vieques the highlight of our Puerto Rico visit. SeaGate is beautiful and Penny is very friendly and helpful.
