To echo other reviews of the SeaGate - Penny and Kelly are the unbelievably helpful hoteliers I have ever come across. They make you feel very welcome and went completely out of their way to help us secure a hire car. The room - although we were only able to stay for one night - was very comfortable with great...

What a wonderful visit! Penny and team did an amazing job and were helpful at all times. Penny even called someone she knew and helped us book a private snorkeling trip. The beach was basically deserted, our guide went with us in the water and we saw tons of fish, coral reefs and a few lobsters and one huge puffer...

Ok so let's just say that the Seagate is such a great place to stay on such an amazing Island. The owner Penny is so sweet and so willing to help that just that alone is worth the price. Kelly the manager made it a point to stop us on our way out and introduce herself and offer her help...

Amazing host Penny! She is very warm and welcoming and takes real interest in making sure your stay on the island is awesome. The rooms are dated but really clean and have an interesting decor. If you are looking a reasonably priced place to crash with clean rooms, good breakfast, wifi. This is the place.

We stayed in the cottage and loved it! My parents are elderly with many health issues and the cottage was perfect. A ramp to the front door and covered parking made it easy for them. Penny was amazing, making us feel like we were home. I can't say enough good things about her and this lovely hotel in paradise!

You have to have certain expectations to stay here; it is not a 5-star resort by any means. With that being said... it was one of our favorite hotel stays we've ever had. My husband and I would call it a laid back island oasis. Although it is not ON the beach, it is walking distance to the small town...

If you looking for a five-star hotel with huge pools and fancy dining room, SeaGate is probably not the one. If you looking for a quiet small hotel where you can listen to the wind blowing through palm tree and watching ocean kisses sky, Seagate will be your first choice on the island of Vieques. Seagate is about 15 minutes’...

A nice place, but not a chain hotel. Homey furniture and fixtures. NOT handicapped accessible. We had a very good one night stay; friendly, helpful staff. Fridge and microwave in room. Horses on the property and riding available.
