The feel of the Seagate is so serene and you really feel like in you're in your own world. I loved it as soon as we walked through the gate! The flowers were beautiful! I really liked that Penny took the time to give us an overview of the island since we had never been there before, that's the kind...

Just wonderful. As experienced riders we were pleased with the horses and the level of riding for our capabilities, including riding around the ring. Scenery was beautiful. Penny was accommodating and guide was informative.

What a fun place to anchor down on the island of Vieques! I stayed here with my parents during our stay on the island. The compound sits atop a hill in Isabel II overlooking the ocean and nearby hills. The property has good parking and is easy to get to when you get used to the island roads, which are...

Unlike most of the larger luxury hotels, the Seagate is up the hill above town. Right across the street are the remains of an old colonial era fort and a great view of the harbor below. The hotel itself is a collection of different buildings, giving each room or suite a different feel. We stayed in a smaller studio, which...

We booked a cottage with another couple. It was clean and spacious. Penny and Kelly were gracious hosts. It was nice to be picked up at the ferry so we could get our bearings before we started exploring the island. The beaches are incredible, and Penny arranged for a rental vehicle to be delivered to the hotel. The island is...

This is an excellent budget hotel. What makes it great is the personal touch of the owner, Penny. From greeting us at the door to helping us deal with the car rental company when we got a flat tire. She embodies the hands on approach with superior "people skills". The view to the sea was beautiful. Breakfast was good. The...

We spent a highly enjoyable two days at the Seagate. We had one of the top floor rooms, with a fantastic view over Isabel Segunda, the sea, and in the distance, Culebra. The hotel itself is really cute, if slightly disheveled, and totally casual. There was a coffee machine in the room, with filters, and ground coffee provided in the...

We stayed for 2 nights at the Seagate hotel - even before we checked in we knew we were going to have a great experience. Penny and Kelly called and coordinated our visit, directions, pick up needs etc. 2 days prior to arrival. This is a very eclectic accommodation - a charming bed and breakfast in a tropical garden settings....

So, I didn't stay here although I'd pkanned to and paid half up front However, something changed and ended up at different side of the island. Called up on short notice to let them know, and they told me my deposit would be refunded if they could rent out the room, which they did. Although a busy holiday period, I...
