Aye! We stayed at Finca Cribe for 3 nights and only had one regret... That we could not stay longer! Everything was perfect. The setting in the breezy hills, the house made of all recycled materials, the pristine maintenance and cleanliness of the place but above all Bill and Scott who make for the most memorable hosts. The atmosphere of...

We had a wonderful experience at La Finca! The hosts (Scott and Bill) were very accommodating and helpful. Rooms were simple and clean. It was nice to have the chemical-free pool to cool off in each afternoon. The views and tropical breezes from the main house were great. The island of Vieques is amazing!

My wife and I recently had a large group stay at La Finca for our destination wedding, and it was literally magical! Scott and Bill, the caretakers, are wonderful people who went out of their way to help in every way possible. From the food from Chef Beverly to Will Colon Band serenading our guests, their recommendations made it a...

At La Finca I just fell at home, is such a cozy feeling to be able to sleep in out in the porch with a book and a glass of cold white wine!. The rooms are clean, comfortable and just perfect for a night where nature and relax rules over AC comfort!. Their salt water pool is the best spot...

This spot was perfect for our small scale overnight field trip from Florida for 5th grade students and their families for 3 nights. We loved it so much, some people opted to hang out there one day instead of snorkel the reef and go to the beach! Rustic but clean, connected to the outdoors but very few bugs, not too...

My wife and I and our two kids (3 and 1) stayed at La Finca for a few nights in March. We stayed in the Family Cabana, which was perfect. Screens and sturdy, smooth plywood and an awesome semi-outdoor shower. Our daughter loved the trees, flowers and the pools, and we spent A LOT of time scooting around on the...

To begin, this review is LONG overdue. This in no way reflects our experience in March at La Finca Caribe. Corky and Bill (owners) have created a truly magical escape for anyone interested in being off the beaten path. They are passionate about the environment, the culture & people of Vieques. Because of this they take measures, both big &...

I visited La Finca early in March 2015 with family including two young children. I stayed in the casa grande while my daughter and her family stayed in the family cabana. We had such a wonderful and relaxing time. Bill and Scott could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Loved the grounds, the pool, the huge porch, the outdoor...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Vieques' most beautiful rustic getaway and original eco-tourism destination since 1995....A rare taste of the Caribbean -- the way it used to be, quiet, natural & affordable. Perfect for groups of two to thirty, workshops, family reunions, or romantic getaways for just the two of you. Anyone who likes off the beaten track and wants to experience the Caribbean the way it was meant to be: quiet, natural and affordable. Salt water pool, outdoor showers, hammocks, views and breezes. La Finca is a cluster of handmade houses -- our large wooden main house, Casa Grande, alone can sleep 18-22, but we also have two family size cabanas and two smaller casitas, all on 3 acres of fruit trees & palms, on the off-beat island of Vieques, seven miles from Puerto Rico's eastern shore; a 25 minute flight and a world away from San Juan....We're up in the hills, with beautiful views and tradewinds, three miles away from the bustle of town...Talk about getting away! We're not a hotel, or a b&b ... The finca is our family's own private "finca" that we love to share with like-minded eco travelers -- folks who like things as natural and simple as possible. Our towels don't match, our showers are outdoors (don't worry -- they're private), the skies are jet black and studded with stars, and the property is dotted in coco palms, mangoes, starfruit, bananas, and a dozen hammocks ... Tropical summer camp, quiet and beautiful. Think Swiss Family Robinson... (Please note: Feb-March 2015 renting the whole finca means all houses/cabins with exception of Cabanita and includes 10 bedrooms with 7 baths and can sleep up to 33.) ... more   less
