Our family of 4 (two girls 14 and 12) just had the most beautiful 3 days at Bill & Renee's Inn. Their property backs right up to the Nat'l Park and they have their own private hike to a waterfall and natural swimming pool. We did several hikes in the Nat'l Park and this was our favorite. The Inn is...

My wife and I spent four nights in the Jungle Suite. Picture relaxing in hammocks inches from THE RAINFOREST! Because that's what you have to experience. The symphony at night from the forest made this the most unique of many B & B stays we've enjoyed.

Just a short (25min) drive from San Juan, The Rainforest Inn is a hidden gem! Upon our arrival we were greeted by their adorable and friendly doggies and were offered fresh bananas (grown on site). We stayed in the Jungle Villa and loved it. It was beautifully decorated and the beds were very comfy. There is a private patio with...

The Rainforest Inn completely lived up to all the wonderful reviews I read before our trip. My two favorite things -- the amazing breakfasts (I especially enjoyed the chocolate zucchini waffles) and the hike on the property to your own private waterfall and pool. We liked this hike better than the one we did on our visit to El Yunque's...

Thank you for the nice review! And your vote for the chocolate zucchini waffles. Renée is always looking for new ideas for gourmet breakfast choices but she won't switch out those waffles with a new idea if people keep mentioning them as a favorite. I like the fresh espresso coffee dark chocolate sauce she makes for them. Bill

We stayed four nights in the chalet. This was my second visit to the Inn and it was just as I remember. The property is lovely. The breakfasts creative, healthy and yummy. Hiking possibilities abound; just a short drive to El Yunque proper. Such a tranquil and restful place.I will return!

My husband and I stayed in the Jungle Suite and we could not have asked for a more amazing room. Each night we sat on the open porch and listened to the sounds of the jungle. As reported, the breakfasts were amazing and it was a good chance to meet other visitors and our hosts. Bill and Rene could not...

Stayed 3 nights at the Villa. It was so perfect, attention to every little detail. We loved the hammocks, and wanted to stay there forever. No need to go on tiresome hikings and stuff, when you can relax with a good book in the hammocks and listen to the birds and treefrogs at night. Complete relaxation which is what we...

We are so happy that you enjoyed our tiny pocket of paradise. The peaceful quiet here with only the jungle sounds (not even the hum of an air conditioner) is something that Renée and I still relish even after living up here more than ten years. We enjoyed talking with you during breakfast and hearing things from a cosmopolitan European...

Visited last year and enjoyed it so much returned adding several additional days. Very relaxing to stay. Breakfasts were excellent and the coffee was Delicious! The hiking trail is very fun and the location is central to visiting El Yunque National Forest and other central locations. Very comfortable rooms.

We loved every second of our stay at the Rainforest Inn. The Villa was perfect for two couples. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the hammock each evening listening to the forest. Rene and Bill were very accommodating. Breakfast was one of the best parts of each day! Only regret is that we didn't leave enough time for the...

If you have the opportunity to visit Puerto Rico and you plan to stay near the El Yunque rain forest, I highly recommend spending a few nights with William and Renee. They will wow you with breakfast, you will be amazed by the views and you will lose yourself at night with nothing but the sounds of the rain forest....

Stay in the El Yunque rain forest of Puerto Rico. We have hikes to secluded swimming holes and mountainside waterfalls right out our background. We have no air conditioning, radios, or TV but we do offer quilts on the beds (it's cool up here in the mountains). If you are a nature lover you will love staying here. We have two bedroom chalet with baths and complete kitchen. There is a tremendous view from your window. Close to Luquillo Beach. ... more   less
