It was a nightmare at the time to go sleep. Music until 1am was so loud that is was impossible to be inside the room, not been able to sleep or watching tv. On the other hand the attention of the staff was great. The staff is really willing to help and make your stay very pleasant.

Room Tip: Ask is they will have music the day you will stay. If they do, you won't be able to go to sleep...

There are two ways to look at The Fox Hotel: 1) As an entertainment destination for a night out in Ponce. For this purpose, the hotel is great. The hotel has multiple food and vendor options, a beautiful patio area, and a really fun Pop Art lobby/common area. There was music both inside and outside of the hotel. It is a really fun place to take photographs as well. 2) As a Hotel. I cannot recommend this location unless you are in town to party and don't plan on trying to sleep until after 1am. Ponce has a fun night life and I am certain that there are people who would be totally fine with this. However, I cannot stress enough that attempting to sleep prior to 1am or 2am would actually be physically impossible. Also, I noticed that some of the amenities listed here on Trip Advisor, such as a microwave or wifi, were not present in the room we stayed in. There are also no windows in the rooms. The elevator is broken.

The hotel has so much potential, but it falls flat. The room had a very strong perfume smell that gave me a headache. The bed wasn't comfortable. The bathroom didn't seem clean. The walls and furniture have chips...it just wasn't comfortable. We didn't speak to many of the hotel staff, but the receptionist was nice. Wi-Fi wasn't available. I wouldn't go back again, unfortunately. The place is fun with all of the pop art and music, but it does need a makeover.

It is impossible to sleep with all the noise down in the lobby. Now it is 1:57 am and it will be just another night without resting. Come to visit, but don't stay. The hotel is nicely decorated and has great entertainment , but you will not have a good night rest if you stay here.

First off for a person who travels 80% of the year in the name brand hotels this by far is not a good place to come family friendly nothing no fridge in room no microwave hotel looks nice but could def use an upgrade and the special way to welcome your guest by saying keep the room key in a safe place because if you loose it there will be a $35 fee for the key really...Second thing shower sucked kept leaking water everywhere not coming back at all did not have wifi available eventhough it says wifi but im not sure where the wifi is maybe across the street but ehh def will stick to the bigger hotel brands. Thought I would try something different cause it looks very nice on instagram but im guessing those pictures are from when the hotel first opened. Does not look like the pictures. Food is great would def come back for the food if I ever stay on this side of the island but not to stay here for the price I paid I have had better.....Sorry TheFoxHotel you are def not a keeper or worth recommending.

The room we were in didn't suit our needs and they gladly moved us into a nicer room. Cool decor and fun atmosphere, especially for my kids. The manager was great to work with and met our needs. Thanks for a good stay.

Thankful for this hotel experience. The hotel is BEAUTIFUL. The food/ coffee shop is like 10 stars. We had minor hiccups (as travelers do) and they were met with immediate help/ kindness. The beds comfortable with ample pillows . The hotel and rooms were so so cool (temperature AND visually) the room we stayed in could be kept dark by closing there bathroom door so it was so snuggly and sound. And then… once again… the coffee and food downstairs in the cafe… the pork quesadillas. Tyty to all

We found a pair of socks lying on the floor that wasn't ours, indicative that they did not vacuum. The atmosphere is festive in the lobby and outside the hotel, with DJs and families enjoying food and drinks. The downside is that the noise from the lobby can be heard perfectly in the rooms and you have to wait for the party to end before you can sleep. Then there was a revolution of little children running and screaming past 12am and no one was taking care of controlling them. Resting was difficult. The rooms are small and the biggest bed is a full size. Very plain rooms with little amenities. The phone has no directory and no idea how to call for room service, the front desk, or anything. The girl at check-in was cordial but she only said negative things. "We do not have an elevator, do not leave the car in front of the hotel or you will get a police ticket, if you lose the room key a $ 35 fine applies, etc" A lot of other positive ways to welcome you to the hotel. Available parking is 10 mins walking distance. Summary: Noisy and subpar for the price paid. I do not think I will ever return, and I am a local resident of Puerto Rico.

I want to start off by saying that we had a great time. This was definitely an interesting experience, and if you are under 23, this is a great place for you. All this being said, do not stay here if you are looking for a hotel. This is more of a night club with private rooms than a hotel. Our first indication was during check in when we were handed wristbands for “security purposes” because “some people wind up in our lobby who aren’t staying in the hotel.” For us, the party started at 2:30pm when the house keepers wearing ripped skinny jeans violently opened our door (thinking they were coming into clean) and ripped off our door frame. My husband was using the bathroom at the time and came rushing out (which was fine since the toilet didn’t flush well anyways). All was well, and we laughed it off and we were shortly moved to an upgraded room. Our upgraded room was bigger, but still had the same size furniture as the original room. An important note is that this room is as far from the lobby as possible, but as we are writing this review at 11pm at night, we will confirm that it doesn’t matter how far you are from the lobby, you will feel like you are in the middle of the dance floor at a club in Miami. So the whole club thing…nowhere on the hotel website or on hotels.com (where we booked) was there a mention of a DJ performing live outside your room. AND, remember those wristbands? No one attending this club is wearing them so we suspect that just like us, other guests were bamboozled. One last note, this hotel is a great value as you get a $175 club admission for free. Some pros, because we aren’t the pickiest people and overall we have enjoyed our stay (until we wanted to go to bed): (1) Lots of alcohol and food on premises (you don’t even need to leave). (2) Parking is included and a few blocks away (everyone who complained about parking probably doesn’t walk often). (3) The staff are incredibly friendly! They offered us lots of great recommendations, and let us check in early. Overall, we recommend that if you are chill and can vibe well, this place can do the job of an overnight stay, but we only think it’s fair to give you a heads up that this is a club more than a hotel. Good luck, and good night (it’s 11:05 and the music and club are still going strong).
