I was traveling here for work and my sister stayed with me. Our flight arrived prior to check-in (Room #609) but glad we were able to get our room and enjoy the island before week started. The room faced the pool which was a nice view along with the DISTRITO T-Mobile area. You could also see the cruise ships in port. The room had two beds along with a desk and flat-screen TV, safe, fridge and closet. The bathroom had decent counter space but wish there were base rooms with a walk-in shower instead of tub. We used the attached parking garage each day. After checking-in, you can get an access card to get in and out of the garage and have it billed to your room. The gym had plenty of cardio and strength training equipment (Floor 3). The pool was very nice and faced the Distrito T-Mobile area. There were plenty of loungers around the pool as well as towels and water to stay hydrated. One day they came around the a pina colada freeze pop! Nice touch! There is a shuttle available to Escambron Beach and Old San Juan a couple times an hour. Note: This is a shared shuttle with a few other hotels in area, including the Hyatt properties. We used the shuttle a couple days and was a nice amenity.

Thank you a memorable weekend. Your staff are my daughter and her friends feel like mini rockstars this weekend. From the check in bellboys, Jonathan and Neftalí, Choices server, Natalia, and the pool towel guy, they helped celebrate my daughter’s birthday. The rooms in the 11th floor were extremely clean and comfortable. The pool area was spacious and the breakfast buffet, though pricey, had great choices. Thank you again because at the end of the day it’s the staff that make an experience memorable.

We enjoyed five nights at the Sheraton in a king room on the 11th floor with a view of the harbor. Check-in was easy and they worked to give a nice view and got us into our room at 2 pm (rather than the 4 pm standard check-in time). Overall, the people were all outstanding (five stars for the staff), from the front desk, to the coffee shop, to the restaurant, and even at the casino. The lobby is a bit sparse for seating but has an excellent coffee shop and the restaurant off the lobby (Choices?) is great for breakfast. There is a nice bar area off the lobby where there is some seating and I saw many guests sitting in there working on their laptops. The elevators to the room is quick, but has access control requiring the use of the room key. The room was spacious, clean and quite. There is a small fridge in the room to keep drinks cool, and two bottles of complimentary water. Even though the hotel has a few years, the room looked new with few signs of wear. The bathroom has a single sink and a tub. I used the fitness room on the 3rd floor, and there are a number of treadmills, bikes and many weight machines. It is probably the best gym in a hotel I've seen both in terms of quality and quantity of equipment. There are towels, cool towels, and a filtered water dispenser. The pool area is nice. We mainly used the hot tub which is showing signs of wear and the jets or whirlpool feature didn't work. There is a nice little bar/cafe at the pool for drinks or snacks. There is a casino on-site with hundreds of slot machines and also a number of table games (craps, roulette, blackjack, etc.). On Sunday night it was packed, so it must be a popular casino. During the week it had people, but wasn't crowded. They were doing some renovation to the casino while we visited, so there were some areas roped off and black curtains covering up renovations. The hotel provides a shuttle to the beach and old San Juan, but wed didn't use it. We were told it ran about every 30 minutes be we generally just got an Uber, which were easy to get. The cost for an Uber to old San Juan ranged from about $5.50 to $10.00 without tip. Across from the hotel is the T-Mobile Distrito, which has about 10 restaurants and bars, and apparently host some live music periodically. Some restaurants were good, so not so much. La Burguesia had some pretty awesome burgers.

Worst hotel in entire Marriott brand. They hire inexperienced loud mouth young kids with no manners. Locals hog up the infinity pool and hot tub with their families and infinite number of kids. Food mediocre. Bartender in the lounge couldn’t make a simple margarita right.

DO NOT STAY HERE. This hotel is the absolute WORST experience I have ever had in my life. I wish I could give it zero stars. Checked in at 5am. Note the very early arrival so we were tired. Had 2 room reservations that were pre-paid by our client who had over 50 guests booked in this hotel for their event at the conference center next door. But the woman working was not nice, told us we had to pay for the rooms in full (over $5000 for 4 nights). Given it was so early in the morning I said I’d just take one room and figure out how to fix this with our coordinators. They sent us an amenity tray with wine and notebooks (lol) saying they were sorry for the mixup. I wish I would’ve been more assertive with my disappointment because it was a mess for the rest of time here. Literally a mess. No one cleaned our room for the 4 nights we’ve been here. Our phone in the room doesn’t work so we had to call from our personal cell phones and yet - no one came. Then after calling multiple times, they sent someone who was on his cell phone talking the entire time he was “cleaning”. At 9pm at night. The front desk and hospitality staff are aloof and unprofessional. Tonight was the last straw. We came back from being out all day and sure enough, no one had cleaned our room. They offered me beach towels to use because they couldn’t reach their own housekeeping department! This is not a 4-star hotel. Don’t stay here. If you have to stay at the conference center stay at the Aloft Hotel next door. The walls are also thin, people are up all night in the hallways. When you check in there are massive lines and if you’re lucky 2 people are at the desk. It’s the most poorly run hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I’ve stayed at 2-star hotels that are run better than this one, and with true hospitality. If you want to be at a casino hotel, stay in Condado instead. Needless to say, after having 50 rooms reserved here these past 4 days they’ve created such a poor brand experience our coordinators won’t be booking our clients here ever again. I’ve never had to post a negative review before. But I have no choice but to warn people to book here at your own risk.

HEY GUYS STAYED AT THE SHEARTON. IT WAS A GREAT GETAWAY. UPON ARRIVAL, WE CHECKED IN, AND ANDREA MALDONNADO GREETED US WITH A BEAUTIFUL SMILE AND LOTS OF POSITIVE ENERGY, SETTING THE TONE OF BLISSFUL VIBES. SHE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING FROM THE LOCATION OF AMENITIES TO FERRY RIDES AND TRANSPORTATION. WE CONNECTED INSTANTLY. I FELT LIKE IT WAS THE START OF A ROMANCE. OUR ROOM WAS LOCATED BY THE POOL ON THE 4TH FLOOR GREAT VIEW OF THE CITY AND THE BAYSIDE. THE POOL GUY KRISTIEN WAS AMAZING HE WAS VERY ACTIVE IN PROVIDING US WITH SNOW CONES AND A COCONUT SLUSHY THAT WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD AS A COMPLEMENTARY. IT HAS A LITTLE KICK TO IT BUT VERY YUMMY. THE ONLY REASON I GAVE A 4-STAR ON LOCATION IS THAT WE ARE NOT ON THE BEACH. THE STAFF AT THIS FACILITY IS SO GENUINE, AND EVERYONE IS PLEASANT TO TALK TO AND VERY HELPFUL.

We were there for New Year's Eve and it was a wonderful experience! The staff were friendly and the pool and outdoor bar/grill were also great. It is located right in the Distrito T-Mobile so we able to experience the spectacle of the Dick Clark's Rockin' NYE celebration from our own room or the 4th floor pool balcony!

Someone thought it would be a good idea to upgrade the hotel computer system today, which was supposed to be complete by 8:00am this morning. Needless to say I’m writing because the upgrade didn’t go as planned and it’s taking HOURS to checkin. They can’t tell which rooms are occupied or which are available and the housekeeping staff (saints!) are going door to door to see who has left their room so it can be cleaned and made available for checkin. And no credit card transactions-everything must be paid in cash. I don’t know what is going on with Marriott but I won’t be staying again anytime soon. I ended up at this hotel after my reservation at Sheraton Old San Juan, which was made in September, was cancelled YESTERDAY due to overbooking and was transferred to this property. Finally got to room at 7:00pm.

We arrived here early morning (1:30a.m. say) for a five night stay and were glad we chose this hotel over others. It is located in a quiet area of the city where you will not here much of any traffic at night. Hotel is in decent shape, will eventually need a proper renovation in a few years' time I'm sure. Would definitely stay here again. Casino - did not use, no opinion Choice's Restaurant for breakfast - great spot and no need to buy up to the buffet option if you get the free breakfast for two with status (the menu is quite extensive), service is great and they also do a carry out option if you wish to eat in the room, by the pool or on the go Café - this is the only place you can use the daily $25 F&B credit that is part of the $45 daily resort fee. Multiple breakfast and lunch/dinner options with the usual hotel markup rate vs what an outside restaurant would be. It's not egregious but just a cost of a trip here as all the major hotels seem to do it. Parking - self-parking is great and can be charged directly to the room. We picked up the rental car on our penultimate day there to only have to pay one day of the daily $18 rate. We then left directly from here to begin our clockwise journey around the island. Logistics - plenty of cheap UBER options to Old San Juan and other nearby spots, no need to have a rental car unless you plan to go around the island (See parking above) Groceries/etc - fifteen minute walk in what seemed like a very safe zone to walk in the day time. Can go there for anything you'd need - bottled water, produce, milk, diapers, baby wipes, etc... it's a full supermarket. Fridge/Cooler - room had a fridge so milk could be safely stored Crib - provided by the hotel for free, call and reserve in advance once the reservation is made online Baby tub/washing basin - not provided, nor at any hotel Shuttle - runs regularly and is to the right when you exit the main entrance of the hotel. Didn't use it to return from Old San Juan but we did use it to return from the beach. Very smooth process and no complaints there. ***It IS stroller friendly where you can strap it in as a car seat (we have the Doona).*** Laundry - no self-serve facilities on site Pool - great area with a bar and live music. Can NOT use the F&B credit at the pool restaurant but the cafe does it to go so just bring it to the pool if you want. There are three pools - a baby pool (say 3-6" of water?), a kid pool and a regular pool.
