Since my husband and I had traveled quite a bit in the caribbean without kids along, I researched every possible option when deciding to take four children with us on this trip (14, 11, 7 and 10 months). I chose FDR after reading probably one hundred excellent reviews. I truly thought that there would be no surprises. I was wrong... More

Overall this was a great trip. There was plenty for my 1 and 3 year olds to do...activities, pool and slide, beach... As everyone else has said, having a nanny was wonderful, and allowed my husband and I to relax by the pool, sit in the hammocks or go snorkelling. Our nanny was fantastic! She took great care of the... More

We planned a one week stay at FDR, myself, my husband and our 5 year old and 20 month old. Once we had stayed a few days, my husband convinced me we should stay another week ! It's like a luxurious camp with so many fun activities for each member of the family. Our room was lovely and we were... More

I stayed at FDR for 5 days with my family (including two children aged 3 and 6). Without a doubt, this is the most kid-friendly resort that I've ever stayed at (my previous resort experience includes trips to Ochos Rios, Turks & Caicos, Cancun and Varadero). The entire FDR staff is incredibly friendly. In my opinion, the resort's biggest draw... More

We just returned from a week stay at FDR. This is our third time visiting the FDR Family, staying once at Pebbles. I can not say enough about this terrific, intimate resort which clearly caters to families. This is not the Four Seasons or the Ritz! If you are looking for five star food(stick with the traditional jamaican fare),drink and... More

We just arrived home from FDR last night. It was our first visit. We travelled with our 11 month old and 3 1/2 year old daughters. We found the resort to be very family-friendly and the staff attentive and professional. Our nanny, Patrina, was wonderful, especially with our 11 month old who had a terrible cold and was teething. -... More

We just got back from a weeklong stay at the resort. Originally we booked at Pebbles since 2 other families we knew were going to be there. When we arrived there we were less than impressed. Nowhere on the website does it mention that Pebbles is their "budget" resort. After being there for 2 hours the three families decided to... More

We have stayed at all Beaches locations in the past and this was our first stay at FDR. We were expecting the accommodations to be less opulent but were unsure of the how the vacation would go overall. We read the reviews prior to booking but chose FDR primarily because the prices for the other resorts were just too high.... More

Spent a very relaxing week at FDR with our 2 year old and his young cousins. Our first experience with all-inclusive resorts was generally quite positive, mainly because of its orientation towards children's needs and amenities. As frequently mentioned, the vacation nannies are particularly great. Ours (Tanya) was caring, energetic and patient -- pretty much a perfect sitter and play... More

FDR is camp for the family. with exceptiopnal staff, very good amenities and very clean rooms, FDR has proven tom be the best family vacation we've had yet! We were used to the 5 star experience, beautiful rooms and great cuisine but my wife and i would always have to enjoy those meals at 5:30 with the kids and then... More
