Our trip began at Norman Manley International airport in Kingston, where we were met promptly by Petey, our driver. We travelled through the mountains of the parish of St.Andrew, then along the north coast through St. Ann and finally Portland. The sea was an unexpected shade of indigo blue which took our breaths away. This was my first visit back...

Our stay at Goblin Hill was amazing, unlike any other place I've been to for so many reasons. We arrived at Goblin Hill after a night in Kingston. The photos of the villas capture some of its beauty, but we weren't prepared to have the experience we had. The villa, the staff, the walks from Goblin Hill to neighboring beaches...

We were a family of 4 staying in Villa 7 with Lorris as our housekeeper. She cooked us delicious Jamaican food and kept the villa beautifully clean. We loved the area which is so pretty. The villa overlooked San San bay and beach. All the stafff were excellent and very friendly. Definitely recommend climbing Reach falls and rafting on the...

We set out to Goblin Hill from Kingston along the Coast roads, which I have to warn anyone I taking this journey to mind the road, it is not good, so take care. You can take the road across the junction up over the mountains, if you wish, this way smoother but windy, but scenic. Both routes take a couple...

Just had THE most wonderful stay here. Goblin Hill is a group of villas within a bird sanctuary. It has a beautiful view, well maintained grounds and loads of native plants but the greatest thing about this place is the people who work here. By the end of our week we made so many new friends here that I feel...

Very well appointed hotel in extensive mature grounds and offering wonderful sea views. We had a villa with our own cook/housekeeper. MISS ELAINE WAS SUPERB, MAKE SURE YOU ASK FOR HER TO BE YOUR HOUSEKEEPER! She was polite, helpful, discreet and cooked the most amazing breakfast and dinners. Spacious and superbly appointed villa. Free tennis and large pool to enjoy....

Rented a villa with friends. Housekeeper was great. Breakfast to order every morning on the porch. Location is great. Grounds are well-maintained and beautiful. View of the bay is awesome from the bedroom window, back porch, backyard.

On checkin, we noticed the beautiful grounds, attractive pool area, and sea view. Our two bedroom villa had a rustic charm but was not sleek or modern. The bedrooms were upstairs - open stairs that would not have been appropriate for small children. Each of the two bedrooms had its own bathroom and doors that closed off the bedroom/bath combination...

Decided to give it a try because we've never stayed in Portland (I've been to a few high end resorts in Jamaica). I must say the place is a little dated and could use improvements here and there including the bedrooms which are very stark and sterile. The highlight of our trip was the grounds; it was truly serene and...

Just accept that this is a 3.5* property that is slightly faded and in need of some TLC. Having said that - it is a very charming place to spend a holiday and of 'another era'. We loved it as it is a great place to unwind and chill out. The villas are quite spacious with a big sitting room...
