This is a hidden gem in Port Antonio/St. Margaret's Bay. It has truly spectacular views of both the ocean and river. We stayed in a two bedroom with a kitchen, which allowed us to eat the phenomenal breakfast provided and then cook dinner for ourselves. The staff was TRULY amazing and went above and beyond to acoomodate our every need....

Tropical rainforest, warm generous people, moonlight river views – This is Rio Vista Resort. Owner Sharon Miller and her staff made us feel like family, including “Angel” the cat with her breakfast and evening visits. Great well equipped room and super service. Cool misty Blue Mountains, Rio Grande rafting trip with a stop at Belinda`s for probably the best meal...

We found out about this place from a friend when we decided to venture away from our regular spots and visit Port Antonio area. A truly beautiful place to sit and soak in a peaceful vibe, you may not visit all the places you want to because you will be so relaxed sitting on your porch enjoying the view. Our...

We have lived in 3 places in Jamaica but when we go back now we always stay at Rio Vista. It is quiet and the most beautiful scenery no matter which way you look. The Rio Grande provides scenes of rafters coming down the river and looking the other way you see the unstoppable sea. Sharon Miller and her workers...

We stayed here over New Years Eve as we wanted to be close to Port Antonio but our preferred places were already booked. The view of Rio Grande is beautiful and a wonderful way to start the day. The room was comfortable and the hotel team were very helpful. If it was possible I'd give this place 3.5*. The location...

Spent 5 nights at Rio Vista. Here is a summary of our stay Rooms - great! Lots of character, clean and spacious. TV is difficult to figure out, but we are not big TV watchers, so not really a hassle. The down side of the rooms is that they face the main road and the traffic can be a problem...

I loved staying at this hotel/bnb. It was an amazing experience with some of the most amazing views I have ever seen in my LIFE. There was air conditioning which was highly preferable for me since we were staying in the summer. The room we stayed in had a bed, TV (with cable channels in English), and a bathroom that...

I absolutely loved this place. The villas are so cute. There is the Rio Grande river on one side and a view of the sea on the other. We had breakfast on the patio by the pool overlooking the river every morning. Stunning. In the evenings we watched the sun set over the ocean. Fantastic. The staff were efficient and...
