The property consist of a hand full of well appointed wooden cabins nestled in to the hillside on the shore of the blue lagoon . No Tv but internet works. Staff will prepare food for you - however I came from Kingston and brought my own. Kayaks available to paddle in the blue lagoon or over to Monkey Island or...

Visited Kanopi House with my wife and two young daughters. Also accompanied by two other couples/friends for a celebration tour of the island. We had a long drive from Kingston after the Blue Mountain Peak hike. It was late as we drove from Kingston and we all thought "is this worth going all the way?". All I can say is...

Kanopi House is a hidden jewel of Jamaica! High in the lush rainforest you over look the beautiful Blue Lagoon. Each tree house is different but they all have their own charm. We just loved our stay at Almondtree and were treated like royalty every day! Marlene who took care of our beautiful villa with hand cut flowers and crisp...

You could travel all over Jamaica and be hard pressed to find a more stunning setting than Kanopi House. Perched in a luxuriant rain forest above the famed Blue Lagoon, you are immediately blown away by the lush surroundings and gorgeous tropical cottages tucked within. The hotel did not respond to requests for directions either by email or phone. When we eventually arrived there was no one about except for one harassed maid. She told us to carry our own luggage and find our house ourselves. When we asked about dinner she looked surprised. It was 3.30 pm and the chef and Carla the manager...

We visited many "tree like houses" and they are fantastic! Beautifully made, original, all wood, some with outdoor shower, and it seems that they never cut down one tree to build them... when you look out of the window, you are right in the middle of the jungle, with incredible plants and trees everywhere...it is breathtaking! Lots of stairs though,...

My boyfriend and I spent a week at Kanopi House in Jan 2015. I agree with the reviews that call it paradise lost. Carla who cooked our meals on a daily basis was wonderful and although the menu was limited she went to great lengths to make sure everyone that wanted to eat there was accommodated with wholesome tasty and...

Wonderful place. Hidden in the trees on the Blue Lagoon. A must visit. Rooms are lovely. Sound system. Fridge. Tea and coffee. We took up fruits for breakfast. Totally private and waking up to the view through the trees is dreamlike.

We'Ve stayed 4 nights at Kanopi House. I read reviews here before booking and we were not let down. The premisses are stunning just like the photos. In fact you got to see it as the pics cannot make justice to this place. We were very well looked after from day one. Carla makes an amazing breakfast and dinner. Boxer...

When we were researching this trip, I was confounded by the discrepancies in experience had by various guests, so I want to start by addressing them. In certain ways, all the reviews were accurate. Kanopi House is incredibly private. Though it stands high above THE Blue Lagoon, it enjoys total privacy. The different wooden houses are far enough apart that...
