We spent 2 nights in the Spanish Elm Room. It was like sleeping in a rainforest. Loved the out of doors shower. One of a kind experience. Enjoyed a boat ride around the lagoon and the warm/cool beach at the bottom. Quite unusual. The plants were quite a sight, not to mention the immense height of the trees above. Thoroughly... More

The Kanopi House was a highlight of my vacation to Jamaica. The rooms are all unique and beautiful and you can walk down a pathway which leads to the blue lagoon for swimming and a nice view. The whole experience at Kanopi House was amazing. The view from the main house was spectacular, all the staff are friendly and laid... More

the tree house is amazing. Privacy and seclusion from the hussle and bussle. surrounded by jungle. think: robinson crusoe in luxury... we loved this place. the downside is room service isnt available 24/7, make sure you request brekky or lunch or dinner one day beforehand when the manager is around, usually in the mornings... dont expect amenities, like a spa... This is our second stay in Almond Tree at Kanopi House. It felt like coming home although Boxer was the only staff member who remains from our previous visit. Everyone is beyond kind and helpful. The grounds are amazing and the room was as stunning as I remember if not better. You can't go wrong with Kanopi House. The food... More

We stayed at Kanopi House for 4 nights over Easter in the Upper Deck room and absolutely loved it! The property is absolutely beautiful. Rooms & Property - I thought the rooms were really beautiful and very spacious, they've been tastefully decorated with beautiful timbers. There was also a Kitchenet in the room which was a bonus. There is a... More

I know this is a long-winded review but I was wishing somebody had laid it out like this for me so I would have been better prepared for my vacation... I'll be honest, after landing in Kingston and riding by shuttle for nearly 3 hours in the rain through the Blue Mountains and Parish after Parish of both gut-wrenching poverty... More

My husband and I stayed at Kanopi House for 4-5 nights over the Christmas period. We stayed in the Almond Tree. The whole property is absolutely amazing, and our room was spectacular! We absolutely loved the setting - surrounded by lush rainforest flora - and the incessant sound of insects and birds. Absolutely lovely! Unlike other reviewers, we saw snails... More

Well, let's get started. Jamaica is just beautiful, specifically near Port Antonio. Anywhere else you will see blue ocean, lagoon, woods and falls like here. There aren't many restaurants to go around, but most hotels have their own cuisine. Here, in Kanopi House, not only the rooms were perfect, the cuisine too. It was great waking up in the middle... Kanopi House, truly magical place had an amazing time with my family. Timothy was a great host and made us feel at home. I was born in Jamaica and my Mom was born in Portland. I had no idea this secret was in our back yard. Words can't explain this magical paradise. Boxer was a true champ thank for our... More
