Stepping into Banana Shout is like stepping into paradise. The lush gardens give the quaint cottages a feeling of privateness and being in a tropical jungle. The cottages are roomy, and one can see the azul sea from all of the balconies. Milo, the owner, is friendly, resourceful, and available. At the private guest bar/restaurant, Milo, Italian, will make you...

Banana Shout is such a unique and quaint experience. I love jumping off the cliffs and watching the beautiful sunsets without all the crazy crowd. It is your own, personal paradise.

Great view of the ocean and sunset! Laid back, no hassle. Charming location and friendly people. Would return to the Banana Shout, it stands out among the other cookie cutter resorts around it. Milo, the owner knows the local community and can guide you and help arrange entertainment. He also cooks specialty meals. A special place.

The experience at Banana Shout is as authentic and colorful as it's history. It is one of the first owner run resorts in the region, it maintains a low key, relaxing environment. People don't bug you about stuff, so be sure to ask for what you need. Milo, the owner is a fine cook, and will make you meals to...

First of all, we just checked out of the hotel this morning. We are writing this review from another hotel that we are staying at for the second half of our trip. I did not want to wait until we got home to post this. The Banana Shout is an amazing place to be. You are treated like family from...

This post is a bit late in coming but Banana Shout left such a huge impression on us that I owe them a review for their superb service and equally comfortable accomodations. We stayed in Negril for 10 days back in Sept 2009--first 5 days in Westend and last 5 days along Seven Mile Beach. We missed the atmosphere and...

This is the motto of the resort and it's true. From the lush gardens to the stunning view from the Dolphin View cottages my friends and I loved this place. It has stunning sunsets, great snorkeling;we saw a manta ray, stingrays, squid, sea turtles and dolphins. And this was just along the cliffs. We also took a day trip out...

This was our second stay at Banana Shout. We split our 9 day vacation between 3 days beach, 3 days Fisherman's Beach (1st time) and 3 days on the cliffs. The stay on the cliffs was truly a memorable one. We were lucky to be there to participate in Thanksgiving dinner with the other guests. This place is for travelers....

I have been to Jamaica twice before this trip and had stayed on the beach. I decided to stay on the cliffs this time and myself and two friends decided on Banana Shout after reading the reviews. We thought it looked quiet yet really had a Jamaican feel to it. We arrived a day late due to our flight being...
