My daughter invited me to go with her to the Healers Healing Retreat at Jackie's on the Reef in Jamaica. From the time I stepped onto the property I felt the serenity. I was able to unplugged from the pace of my everyday and just BE in that beautiful space for five blissful days. I loved the Yoga with Sativa. The food was wonderful. I am so looking forward to my return trip in 2024. Edna

This place looked exactly the same as I remembered it from a few years ago, zen, simple, and beautiful. It was lovely to see Jackie again and her lovely staff. My friend and I had the hot bamboo massage and it was out of this world lying on the bed in an open hit by the water. Michelle, my massage therapist had magic hands and I was floating home after my treatment. My friend’s massage by Iresha (spelling?) was excellent too. Afternoon massage we had lobster tacos and sour sap which were OUTSTANDING. Loved the experience!

I recently had the good fortune to meet Jackie in her lovely saffron robe during my stay next store while seeking a massage. I had three amazing massages those 3 days with Michele. Jackie is a fun, knowledgeable lady. While we discussed life's path, I initially scanned her place on the reef, a sanctuary set in an enormous botanical garden. This includes a Juice Bar serving delicious natural goodness. One has to experience its essence in person to reveal the charm & spiritual atmosphere of renewal. ~John C

Jackie's is a place of Peace, Quiet and Serenity. I literally prayed before ai went on this this back home to Jamaica. I asked to have the resort all to myself and guess what? The universe listened. When I rested all, I could hear was the sound of the ocean, birds, and nature. The food was fresh and well prepared. The staff was sweet and helpful. For the most part, I was given the freedom to take in all of the BEAUTY I was surrounded by without interruption. I was simply invited when my next meal was ready. Gwen (the chef), Jesse, and Tony were very pleasant and respectful during my 4-day stay. Then there was Michelle my Massage Therapist. Michelle has a wonderful spirit with wonderful therapeutic hands. I recommend Michelle HIGHLY! I am a MT of 17 years myself and know great hands when it comes to body-work. Need I say more? Give yourself the gift of getting to Jackie's on the Reef. You won't want to leave. I DIDN'T. I will definitely return.

I returned to Jackie’s on the Reef after my first journey to this wellness oasis 22 years ago; thus, it holds a special place in my heart. Over several decades, Jackie Lewis has maintained a healing space for people seeking to disconnect from the stress and responsibilities of everyday life. Here, you can fully immerse in healthy movement, nutrition, conversation, connection with nature, and other wellness practices. During this stay, I enjoyed morning yoga with Sativa, delicious and wholesome meals prepared by Gwen, Venetta, and Jessie-Mar, healing massages from Michelle, and all the beauty of the wellness center maintained by Tony and Verna. In between, I simply reconnected with the sun and sea as I did so many years ago. The highlight was sharing evening meals with Jackie and sipping herbal tea while gazing at the night sky and listening to the lull of the ocean waves. Given all that is happening in these troubling times around the world, I highly recommend booking a trip to Jackie’s to relax, release, and rebalance! I’ll definitely return again and again.

We spent one day at Jackie's on the Reef. No overnight because we were already next door at the Westender Inn. My wife wanted to take a "walk", which meant she wanted to walk 500 feet to Jackie's on the Reef. We arrived and there was a bell, which she rang. I was afraid we were disturbing the peace, because the place seemed so quiet. The friendly staff welcomed us in. And, there she was! Jackie in the flesh, sitting on the porch! We arranged for a couples' massage, after the staff made every effort to get two masseuses there. Great massage, especially for a big, Black man like me. Too often people brutalize my body, believing that I don't feel pain or something. My masseuse was quite gentle, respectful of my body, and respectful of my being in my birthday suit. No one was there except the juice bar attendant and maybe one other staff member, after the masseuses left. The juice bar was great. Soon come would be the motto, I'd say. Don't sweat it. Food was great. We then decided to just sit and enjoy the ocean waves, breeze, and the sound of the ocean. Imagine a meditation video with the crash of waves against the shore --- and nothing else. That was our experience. Our jobs in the U.S. keep us very busy, so it was fantastic to do absolutely, positively nothing for hours. We just sat. She read a book. I sat and just stared out to sea and did nothing else. Seriously, that was it. I hope you can have a similar experience. There's more to do and experience there. For me, this was perfect -- nothing. Now, back to the grind.

Jackie and her attendants took good care of us, 4 women. We were there for a relaxing day on the cliffs as part of our Healing Retreat in Negril. The Massages were Amazing, the Food was fresh and ayurvedic. There is so much to do as part of your personal self-care practice as well as collectively as a GROUP. She performed a wonderful Sound Healing Ceremony at Sunset and the experience was unforgettable. Needless to say, I could've spent ALL Day There. A must visit....I am sure you'll feel the same.

I stayed at Jackie's On The Reef at the beginning of January 2021. Prior to my arrival she arranged transportation for me and Winston was my driver. He was so nice and knowledgeable of the island. Once I arrived to the property there were really no words to truly describe how BEAUTIFUL this place is (see pictures, but it doesn't do it justice). I was looking for a place where I could go to find a peace of mind, heal, relax, and discover my purpose. I received just that AND MORE. During my stay I had the chance to enjoy yoga( included), breakfast (included), lunch (not included w/stay but offered), and dinner (included). I was a little worried because I'm vegan and the possibility of there not being a variety, but I was SO wrong. The kitchen staff (Miss Gwen, Vonetta, and Ralph) were AMAZING! Every dish and juice that was prepared for me was DELICIOUS! They do offer other food options as well. Everything is natural and comes from her garden. During your stay "Mama Jackie" requires you to have two treatments during your stay. I took advantage of the body scrub (with facial) and the deep tissue massage. Both of my services were done by Aneisha and she was AMAZING! I'd also never done yoga before, but both of my yoga instructors (Johanna and Sativa) were GREAT! One of the most important people at Jackie's is mama Jackie herself! She is GEM! I was the only one on the property during my stay, so we had a chance to bond and she gave me an EXPERIENCE I WILL NEVER FORGET! I could write a book about my experience, but if you are looking for self-care, love, time for self, and quietness, please stay here. I PROMISE you won't be disappointed!

I had a blast at Jackie’s on the Reef. I went to Jamaica for a women's retreat and attending Jackie’s was the perfect addition to the experience. I enjoyed the massage by the ocean and the sound healing/meditation she offered. Not to mention the fresh food - I ordered the fish taco and it was so good! I would highly recommend Jackie’s to anyone in need of peace and healing!!!
