Negril Tree House Resort is celebrated for its vibrant atmosphere and beautifully landscaped surroundings, offering a laid-back experience that guests adore. Many visitors rave about the hotel's amenities, particularly the complimentary breakfast and convenient beach access, though some see room for minor enhancements. While the location is a highlight, opinions on value vary due to inconsistent service and pricing.
Despite occasional mentions of understaffing, the staff generally receives accolades for their attentiveness. The resort's cleanliness and well-maintained, spacious rooms with plush bedding are frequently praised by guests.

Detailed Reviews
I was impressed with the measures taken to sanitize the room and general shared space, the adherence to health guidelines and the care package I received on check-in made the process more enjoyable - I felt they cared about me. Super spacious bathroom, everything in the room worked and the bed was very comfortable. The only reason you're not getting a 5 is because the staff were quarreling about some kitchen issue in front of guests which wasn't very professional,

The treehouse was awesome! Our room was large, well equipped w ac, cable & wifi & fridge . The food was great (best cook in Negril!) The included breakfast was always our choice of American or tasty Jamaican breakfast was more then filling each morning from 8-11. I kept an open CC & we ate & drank to a reasonable bill at the end, no extra charges, if we wanted to venture out we can & dis foran occ adventure. Right on 7 mile beach, the location is about as close to oerfect as you can get. I didnt know until I srrived but directly across the street from the NTH is an ATM ($ or J) pharmacy urgent care & covid tests. While i had a rental car, I could easily have done w/out it & will next time I stay at the Negril Tree House. The security keeps the pandering to a minimum. A day on 7 mile beach complete w lounge chairs umbrellas tables & drinks, what a way to relax for a reasonable price. The wait staff was friendly & efficient. Marcella, Natisha, Alex Basille, Stacy, Oneil, Odette Janice & Petrona & more simply stood out. Don’t hesitate to go, no worries over cv-19. Everyone wore masks, washed hands frequently. I have been to Negril 11 times, I was impressed

As soon as we arrived (private shuttle by Luxurious Carib Tours) the staff took our temperature, sanitized our hands and even our luggage. Check in was prompt, we got our keys and beach towels which were all individually wrapped. We were given a welcome bag with all kinds of goodies; hand sanitizer, antibacterial wipes, a flashlight, cups, personal hygiene supplies and a cute notebook and pen. The bellman brought all of our luggage to the outside of room (didn’t enter due to the extra Covid precautions). Due to the current restrictions it was very quiet but we didn’t mind. The beach is breathtaking and the food at the hotel is delicious. We already have our next trip booked.

My experience at The Negril Tree House was remarkable. I've traveled to Negril for over 35 years and stayed many years at a hotel next door that is now closed. I began looking for a new hotel and The Negril Tree House Resort is it. I stayed in Rm.41 that was beautiful and it provided me with many comforts of home. The room (apt) is spacious with comfortable beds, two bathrooms in one room, (Yes) washer, patio, two televisions, 2 air conditioning units. The staff was warm, and service oriented that treated my son and I wonderful. The food was excellent with a variety of different foods and full service bar, beautiful clean beach, sanitized chaise loungers, clean pool. The most important aspect in traveling during the pandemic are the Covid Protocols used while traveling. This resort was on point. Mask were required in all public areas (enforced/renforced), sanitation stations are provided. A tote bag was given to each guest filled with masks, towels, personal bottle of sanitizer and various goodies for your personal use only. A Covid testing facility is directly across the street that provides instant test results and will deliver the results upon request to this hotel. Safety and security is priority at the Negril Tree House Resort. We enjoyed our stay. I thank the host Gail and staff for making this experience pleasurable, safe and fun. I give the staff a personal 'Thank You!!"

Our driver Pauline took us to Negril Tree house resort from Jewel Grande in Montego Bay. Once on the property it cost us 5$ for the day to walk the beach, access to their pools,etc. We ate lunch at their restaurant and had their best jerk chicken wrap. The bean and mango salsa was incredible. I would eat here again in a heart beat. For 4 STRONG drinks and 2 large wraps with fries and salad it was only 36$ US.

We opted for the suite with a kitchenette (#21), it was perfect for the two of us. Huge comfortable bed, nice roomy bathroom with walk in shower, it even had a washer/dryer which was really useful for our 12 day stay. The included breakfasts were fantastic, as is their coffee. All of the employees were super friendly & helpful (Marline gets 10 stars !) The beach is well maintained & has both sun & shade areas. We used their glass bottom boat for snorkeling several times, the captain will give you an underwater tour, or just watch over you from the boat. At all times Covid protocol was observed by the entire staff with masks & distancing, & there are sanitizing stations at nearly every corner. It has a great location, with a mini-mall across the street with just about everything you might need, even a place to get your covid test to return home. We did meet the owner, Gail, & she is a wonderful person who takes great care of her staff & is involved in many local programs to help the community. Stop putting off your vacation & get there !

Located in the middle of the 7 mile beach, the Tree House is a wonderful place to stay. They have a lovely and delicious breakfast buffet, suitable for simple palates (toast and eggs) to those wishing a real Jamaican breakfast. There is food available for all meals and throughout the day. We enjoyed everything we had. The staff is warm and friendly and the rooms are kept very clean. They vary in size, according to your budget.
The owner, Gail has retained staff for many years, which speaks volumes about how they are treated, in particular, helping them out with their necessities through COVID. She is the only owner I know who personally gets involved with the keeping the beach and roads free of debris (not just at her property).
For all the years I've been going to Negril (40+), the Tree House has become my place of choice to stay, enjoy and truly relax. Do yourself a favor, no all-inclusives, meet the people, eat the food, walk the beach, take an excursion or two.

This is a wonderful solid 3-star hotel with breakfast included directly on 7 mile beach. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. Breakfast was good. We didn’t care so much for lunch and dinner at the hotel so opted to eat elsewhere. We rented a family suite with 2 bathrooms which our teenage boys enjoyed. And finally beach chairs + umbrella are complimentary and the location is directly on 7 mile beach. We cooled off in the nice pool and relaxed in the hot tub. There is gift shop, gym and massage parlor available also.

POSITVES -
* Security staff on beach friendly! But at times I felt venerable, as security wasn't available
* Cocktails if made by experience staff are good. I had to return a cocktail which was awful.
* Many returners from america
* Access to the beach, area is kept pretty clean
* Very good location, I ventured out on my own and felt safe
* Great fridge freezer provided
* Ceiling fan and air conditioning very good
NEGATIVES -
* The rooms are tired. Pealing paint, blinds that do not work, concerning as a solo single female traveller.
* Room cleaning could be better
* No tea or coffee facilities
* Staff on reception are not attentive, if you are a solo English customer!
* Staff flip backwards for only american customers
* All bills are provided in USD, very unfortunate that a jamaica hotel devalues the Jamaican dollar.
* The bar food especially in the evening does not taste fresh. Its cooked earlier in the day, its barely warm when served.
Breakfast has both positives and negatives, cornmeal porridge very good. Jamaican cuisines provided, no limits on how often you go back for more.
Servers slow at asking if you need a coffee/ tea refill. Went to refill myself on the first day, got snapped at by the staff member making the eggs!

My experience at the Negril Tree House was fantastic. The excellent service began at the Front Desk and continued to the room. The Bellhop was quite helpful and courteous The room was very cozy with all the requisite amenities.
Breakfast was very tasty. The food could be compared to my home-cooked meal. The servers were very accommodating, alert and courteous, fulfilling requests that were within their jurisdiction.
The morning swim was out of this world (I love the water). The nice clean white sand beach with its alluring features captivated my mind and allowed me to recollect my emotions in tranquility.
Aside from the offerings that the regular guests would get at the Negril Tree House Resort, the highlight of my experience was the arrangement and preparation for a Surprise 70th Birthday Party for my dear brother. I had gone to four (4) other Resorts in Negril to select what I envisioned would be the best venue for the Birthday Party. When I spoke to the Events' Coordinator, Miss Yanique Wedderburn at Negril Tree House I knew she was the one who would give me what I had in mind. She was very enthusiastic and shared some ideas with me, She assured me that she and her Team could deliver what I explained to her,
The beauty of working with Miss Wedderburn was that we could communicate by telephone, WhatsApp and Email. Each instruction that was given was agreed on and clearly carried out. On the day of the event, everything was on point. The decor was out of this world and the food was good. The final display could be compared to anything that could be done by a Five Star Hotel or even outdo some I have seen. Everything was simply gorgeous. Everyone was pleased with the organization and execution of the function.
Kudos to the wonderful staff of Negril Tree House Resort that was assigned to plan and execute the function. A job WELL DONE Miss Yanique Wedderburn and her Team.

Yes there is a beach, pool and shopping on site and across the street. I would suggest a tour to JamWest for zip lining

I’m so sorry. I had just made reservations for Ivan’s so that was on my mind when answering your question. If I remember correctly, the menu prices for a meal were around $15- $25. We didn’t try any of the daily specials so I can’t speak to that. I didn’t take a picture of the menu. You might ask on their fb page.
