OK. If the negative reviews here have you warned off, I get it--- don't come here if you need an upscale manicured setting, or if unfiltered Jamaican society near the taxi-stand across the street offends you(actually, I've witnessed things there that made me LOL, but that's another story...). However, I've been coming to the island for nearly 30 years, and...

If Silver Seas is offering you a free reservation dont even consider it. I had the displeasure of staying in that rat hole in December I left my car in their "secure" parking lot in the middle of the day for half an hour to get something from my room....on my return the car and all its contents were gone...and...

We originally arrange for a three night stay at the “Motel”. But upon arrival the room smelled of urine, the furniture’s and the walls had stains and residue on them; by far the Dirtiest “Motel” both aboard and locally. We immediately realize we made a mistake coming here and quickly decided to stay elsewhere! But by the time we got...

From the moment we arrived we were aware that this hotel had a story to tell. Now so do I. Greeted by Davis, a true gentlemen who will tell the story's of this hotels illustrious past. This is the second time that I have visited silver seas. My first visit i really enjoyed and thought it was excellent value for money and the views from the hotel are absolutely magnificent. The second visit unfortunately was not as enjoyable. The hotel is not for someone who wants luxury but it does have some appeal, it is in...

First of all, i stayed at this hotel three times. August of 1984, August of 1986 and May of 1989. From what I have read, it is still the simple place for simple people to visit and truly experience Jamaica. It is not a tourist trap with A.C., Cable T.V. and exotic food. Each visit, I arrived in the afternoon....

If you basically want a place to sleep and shower, this is the place. When I went to Jamaica, I didnt want to be a tourist so I met people to get the full Jamaican experience, the only tourist thing I did was Dunns River Falls and 9 Mile (Bob Marley Tour) The Hotel has a Beautiful view.
