Hotel 39 is a newly renovated 82 room boutique hotel, located on Montego Bay's famous Hip Strip. On the opposite side of the road from a beach park, we are only five inutes walk to everything that the Strip has to offer. Ultra modern amenities, Alexander's restaurant, Cafe 39 and the Lobby Bar in the lobby, and Infinity Bar beside the Rooftop Infinity Pool on one of the blocks with the Caribbean Sea as a wonderful backdrop. Most rooms have an unobsrtucted view of the Ocean, and some rooms have a garden view.

The hotel was modern and updated the rooms were nice and spacious and the view was amazing. The staff was very nice and accommodating and the delicious Jamaican or international breakfast that was included was a great bonus. I’ll definitely be back soon.

Room very clean , check in smooth , food amazing breakfast needs to be self served . Location friendly near the beach . sae location , menu options are basic . this hotel can be an all inclusive, breakfast menu needs to be presented on ah table or room service

This hotel is a MUST when staying in Montego Bay! To begin, you are greeted by the warmest staff as you enter the lobby of the hotel. The lobby is also very beautiful and a great place to take photos. The rooms are very clean and modern. We stayed in a King bed room & the bed was VERY comfy. Parking is very easy and secure. In the morning the breakfast was included in the stay and for me the breakfast was the highlight of the stay! You have local Jamaican cuisine & international options as well. Kudos to the chef!!!!! We did not have the time to enjoy the pool but we will definitely be back!!

Gave 4 stars because of slow service. We had brunch at the restaurant. I would definitely consider staying at the hotel in the future. The restaurant was understaffed and service was extremely slow. This was the morning before our departure so we were a bit anxious. The food however was delicious, the facility clean and inviting and we sat on the porch overlooking the ocean. Such a beautiful view. Great location on the hip strip and a lovely property.

I wanted to take this opportunity to put on record my sincere appreciation to Moeisha, Guest Service Agent at Hotel 39. She provided me with excellent customer service. She answered my many questions and was polite, friendly and efficient. Hotel 39 is the rebranded and renovated Wexford hotel where I’ve stayed many times. Since it’s a new owner, I had many questions and the level of patience Moeisha provided confirmed for me that my decision to stay at Hotel 39 end of June is the right decision. If the rest of the staff is anything like Moeisha then I’m certain I will have an enjoyable time. (I will update my review after my short but sweet stay at the end of June).

I stayed for one night in the superior king room. All the rooms have a view across the bay. The rooms are tastefully decorated and I had a wonderful nights sleep in the king size bed . Bathroom facilities are excellent and everything is clean and well appointed . The hotel is very close to the beach and local bars. I’m very pleased to support Jamaican entrepreneurs and will definitely return to this hotel for a longer stay in the future.

Thanks so much for your kind review. We opened on the 2nd Feb (2024) and have been working feverishly to get the product to the state of completion in which it is today. That being said, we still have a way to go. The pool is now up and running, and the restaurant is also now open. We are happy that you enjoyed your stay...One point for clarification : Not all rooms face the Ocean...The ones facing the Ocean are Superior rooms, and the ones facing the direction of the swimming pool and hillside are Standard Rooms. Nice staff, clean rooms with good air conditioning. The floors for the shower could go for a redesign and the pool is a bit far, but overall a positive stay. Breakfast was the real highlight - food was incredible! Don't change a thing with that.

Only stayed for 1 night but it was a lovely hotel.
Rooms were great, very clean, modern and excellent/quiet AC.
Room had a smart TV but we didn’t really use it.
Very nice lobby with a very helpful front desk.
Pool area was good, could do with a little touch up but had beds and chairs to use.

like me start by saying that this hotel was amazing the food was so good and it was the best i ever had at Montego bay the hotel staff was amazing they treated me and my family so wonderfull everything was walking distance and i would definitely be going back .. this is the first time i write a review and i hope this place get the recognition that it deserves the beach called doctor cave was only like a 3 min walk and let me tell u that was the most beautiful beach i ever visted and i
