Five nights and not a single complaint. From check in to check out, the accommodations and services were superb. The room was spacious, clean, and overlooking the pool and beach. The bathroom is a couples dream. As other reviews have mentioned, the food was really good. I’ve visited resorts in other parts of the world and generally, the food is bland and alcoholic drinks watered down. That was not the case at S Hotel. Breakfast was my favorite meal of the day. Real good, not hot dogs, was available all throughout the day. The feast on Independence Day was a sight to see!!! I would be remiss if I didn’t give a special shout out to management. Unbeknownst to use, we had some family friends living in the area. The family came to meet us - all 7 of them. The managers proposed a special rate for our friends to hangout with us on the resort for the day, essentially saving us hundreds of dollars.…
We just returned from our vacation at the S Hotel in Montego Bay. The hotel was beautiful and very clean. We have been to many Caribbean islands over the years and we must say the water at this beach was everything you could ask for. Calm, blue, and warm. What we can not state loudly enough is the treatment we received from all the staff. I wish I could remember everyone’s names, but I do want to mention Shaqeel and Derol specifically. Both gentlemen took time out of their day every day to do anything they could to make us feel welcome. Like I said, I wish I could remember everyone’s names. The bartenders outside were amazing, the restaurant reservations staff were great and check in was perfect. You never heard the answer “No” and everyone did everything possible to accommodate our needs. I would venture to say it was the most pleasant staff we have ever encountered at any hotel. The ease of water sports is right there on property… just ask the beach staff and they will take care of you. We can not recommend this hotel enough… definitely give it a try!…
We stayed at the all-inclusive S Hotel in Montego Bay for 4 nights and 5 days and we absolutely loved our stay. Everything from our gorgeous room with a view, the property, the facilities and the hospitality was amazing. Definitely worth staying when planning to visit Jamaica!
Book your stay fast!!! It’s hard to explain how warm and welcoming the place and staff was! Beyond expectations… the ambiance is breathtaking and the rooms are well kept! From the entrance welcome I could tell it was going to be an awesome experience… our family was welcomed with drinks of our choice (non-alcohol for the kids) and after checking in, we noticed a personal welcome on the television… from there on out we knew it was going to be a special experience… The food!!!! The food!!! I could say a million things but I don’t want to spoil any surprise! Don’t want to tell you about the cafe and choices there! Don’t want to tell you about the gym! Don’t want to tell you about the jerk spot at the pool! Don’t want to tell you about the world renowned Doctors Cave beach you have free access to! Go experience for yourself… 5 stars is NOT enough!…
this boutique hotel has everything you need for a splendid time in Jamaica. We stayed in room 444 which overlooks the pool and beach ( perfect ) It is small, which I prefer because the pool and beach were right there. There was also a very cool infinity pool upstairs ( awesome for pictures) There is one restaurant for breakfast lunch dinner and it has the best food ever. there is also the "fancy" restaurant for dinner. The general manager- Ann Marie is a rock star !! She made sure that my family was having a good time and took care of anything we needed.
We loved our stay at the S Hotel. It is not your typical all inclusive hotel. It’s a smaller establishment which makes it more of an exclusive experience. It is located just 10 minutes from the airport. If you call the hotel front desk, they’ll help with getting a taxi for transport. I loved seeing planes land from our balcony. The food and drinks were really good with one fine dining restaurant, the regular buffet, poolside grill and bar and a cafe that is 24/7. Again, not the typical all inclusive food or drinks which tend to be watered down. The S hotel does an awesome job with the food. Drinks are not diluted down either. We ate a lot and I mean a looott of the jerk chicken from the poolside grill, soo good!! Service was top notch. We got an upgrade with my Expedia status and the view was absolutely breath taking. The junior suite also came with a soaking tub and a walk in shower. The hotel has a good sized pool and access to a private beach. There is a smaller rooftop pool as well. The hotel is close to the Montego Bay downtown if you’d want to do some local exploring. If you want to do excursions, most tours will pick you up from the hotel lobby. Highly recommend the stay here. We were very very happy with our time there.…
I just returned from a Girlz trip vacation in Jamaica. We had an amazing time! Please don’t sleep on the S Hotel! The hotel is extremely nice and I can’t say enough about the awesome staff. All inclusive and great staff what more can you ask for! The place is spotless and everything is modern. The food (and alcohol!) was just what my taste buds needed! 🤣🤣 A special shout out to Delroy, Jermaine, and the Chef Isiah(i belief that was his name). All three made sure our dining experiences were exceptional! Whatever we needed they ensured we had it. Thanks also to Zaria (front desk) for being so welcoming during check in and throughout our stay. Lastly please be sure to let the servers/bartenders know how much you value there service and TIP them. Yes it’s all in inclusive but that doesn’t include tips for their service. I’m ready to book my room again! The S Hotel didn’t disappoint!…
My partner and I stayed 6 nights at the S hotel and overall it was a great experience. We thought there were more than 2 restaurants at the hotel but this was our fault for not reading the description properly! Although the food was different and delicious every night, it would have been nice if there was more of a variation of restaurants to change up the scenery. The fine dining restaurant was nice food but the vibe was pretty dead so we preferred to eat in the main buffet for the rest of our evenings. We ate out at margaritaville for lunch one day and pier 1 for dinner. These were only down the road as we got bored of eating in the hotel every night (only a short taxi ride). We also went to Usain Bolt’s tracks and records restaurant which is literally a 10 second walk from the hotel, worth a visit. I think if you were staying for a longer period of time then perhaps a bigger hotel resort with more restaurants would be a good idea. Aldwane Birch the taxi driver was great, he works for the hotel and he picked us up from the airport (arranged via email through the hotel). We then used him for the rest of our trip and dropped us off and waited for us wherever we wanted to go. He also sorted river rafting and trips to the blue hole and dunks river falls as he has a lot of local connections. He is very trustworthy and reliable. S hotel is right on the hip strip so if you walk out the resort you are exposed to a busy area with a lot of locals trying to sell you something. We didn’t walk anywhere because of this. It’s quite annoying that you can’t walk anywhere without being asked if you want to buy something but I think the whole of Jamaica is like that, so nothing to do with the hotel. I did think it was very expensive for the room but we were there (unknowingly) when the Sumfest festival was on 10 mins down the road so this might have been why as the hotel was fully booked over this weekend. All the rooms face the ocean which is a great, just the higher up you are, the better view you have. The ground floor view is obvs obstructed by palm trees etc. The best part about the hotel is the ocean view and your free access (and free sun beds) on doctors cove beach. You can also stay on doctors cove beach until 6.30pm whereas the general public can stay there only until 5pm and they have to pay. All the staff at S hotel were lovely and would go out of their way to help you. Air con and fan in the room were amazing. Room was serviced efficiently every day. Also it’s literally a 5 min drive from the airport. We didn’t use the gym as it’s in the basement and it felt a little dingy with no windows (not like the photo). I would recommend this hotel for a couple for a long weekend or approx 5 day holiday!…
First time at this hotel with a mini room booked. This room is mini with windows onto the corridor but it was a nice room with everything you need (shouldn’t be in the room). Resort nice and access to doctors cove. The food was ok, nothing special. I had a colleague at a nearby hotel and asked for him to meet me for lunch (offered to pay) but this sadly wasn’t allowed which was disappointing alongside no late check outs.
Our stay at the S hotel was extremely pleasant. Out of the many trips that we have made to Jamaica, they may very well have the best food!!!! The service was above and beyond. Staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. Special shout-out to Sudanne, Zaria, Christine, Stacey-Lee Leonardo & Ricardo. They made our stay so much better! The room was perfect. We stayed in an ocean front Junior suite. The shower was absolutely delightful. The best water pressure to date! The free standing tub was a hit with our daughter. All of the modern touches and attention to detail were very much appreciated. The beach was beautiful. Calm clear waters with white sand. Well maintained. The pool is a salt water pool which I prefer, but to some it’s an acquired taste. Would definitely recommend staying here. Even though there were other children there, we’d probably return without her as the vibe is more adults only.…
